  1. I do not understand why you do not know the charge, what drug was involved, presumably you know the sentence, you also need to know what the maximum sentence could have been, we seem to be be dealing with a Class A, not Mary Jane. So there are 4 scenarios 1. Do not bother applying 2. Needs a QR to file a waiver. 3. Delay the process by a year 4. No issue all is good Nothing has been mentioned that implies 1 but where we are with the others I do not know. No point seeing a Lawyer before you have the facts.
  2. Wondering the same????
  3. Why can she not gpo home and get the care she needs?
  4. Normally in this sort of situation there is no QR so the rest is moot. Mention of jail time so I am assuming not some wacky backy. Dealing would be a big no no.
  5. Just so you know it is better to marry and go the I 130 route.
  6. It is just the numbers, no one competes with Manilla.
  7. The Company Immigration Lawyer will able able to advise on how to draft the letter, job description etc. I assume that the Company is willing to participate.
  8. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/memos/2017-1120-PM-602-0153_-TN-Economists.pdf Analyst could be a problem, I think the job would need to be described as an Accountant. Do you have a job offer.
  9. Impossible to know
  10. That seems to be the norm
  11. Refused in their speak means not approved, not denied.
  12. There are lots of qualifications best to file one each
  13. https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/caribbean/cuba/holidays-cuba.html I knew quite a few people who went on holiday to Cuba, and one guy who went on Business every year, is it a major UK Holiday destination no, but not that uncommon. I think a lot of Canadians go there as well. I can see that the US focus on Cuba would not be known.
  14. My understanding is you need one of these. Annulment Decree and Declaration of Nullity Available Fees: Dependent on the issuing court Document Name: Annulment Decree Issuing Authority: The Family Court of the province or city where the petitioner or the other spouse (called the “respondent”) resides for the last 6 months prior to the date of filing, or in the case of a non-resident respondent, where he/she may be found in the Philippines. Certified Copies Available: Certified copies of the Annulment Decree or Declaration of Nullity can be obtained from the appropriate court. Registration Criteria: The Annulment Decree or Declaration of Nullity must be registered in the Civil Registry where the marriage was registered, the Civil Registry of the place where the court is situated, and in the Philippine Statistics Authority. Comments: Note that a petition for “annulment” refers to voidable marriages, which are valid until annulled by the court, while a petition for “declaration of nullity” refers to marriages that are considered void or nonexistent from the very beginning.
  15. It is on the first page saying who is eligible, the vast majority of the world population are not. Anyway this is her application not yours, it seems the Czech Republic was added in 2008. I do not remember a time before the VWP, I always entered on it before moving. She would have been asked how long she was staying, I always was, and would have had a return ticket, one of the requirements. In all my years I have never seen someone suggest they did not know about the 90 days, well some refer to 3 months. Anyway what is done is done.
  16. Edited I thought it was the other thread.
  17. Wake up in the middle of the night.... Let me try again costs about 5k and of course a visitor visa is discretionary so they could just refuse.
  18. I have a Physics A Level and like to think I keep abreast of technological advances, Fission for example, but this is beyond me.
  19. There have been a few discussions recently about cases which can be DIY, and which need a Lawyer. This one I think I can say without contradiction needs a Lawyer. Could I work my way through this, possibly, but I have seen all sorts of interesting cases. Coud me back when I had not, no chance, well I suppose I might get lucky? The nice thing about US Immigration Law is that it is Federal and we have Zoom etc so there is no need to visit, obviously there are ####### lawyers but there are good ones as well.
