  1. I assumed that so was focussing on what she does have, regular stuff that only a resident would have. If she has medical bills she has medical insurance and that is something a resident has, well you have to be resident to get it.
  2. I assume she does not work, Health Insurance? would be a big one, what does she pay for on a regular basis?
  3. I know Colorado rules have changed a few times, I was fine as it did not take long to get my EAD and CO allowed New Residents quite a long time to get a DL. So first you need to know how long you have as a new resident to get a DL. If they say you can get one as a K1 I assume that would expire after the 90 days.
  4. ROFL Yet Kamala only got the job because she is a she and identifies as black
  5. Wow ohh wow, Olympics excels:
  6. There was a time you could get an EAD stamp when you entered good for 90 days, or it took a few weeks to get an EAD. The US does not have a National ID, except SSN, and DL... It is just easier to get a SSN asap. Seems they have now been hacked so that should be fun.
  7. Has she had a Press Conference yet? Even with the State Controlled Media?
  8. Shame they could not find space for local specialties, Shopping without payment?
  9. There is the criminal issue and the medical aspect, this is a medical and seems they just wanted to check he was no longer using.
  10. CNN — Until last year, Janet Albrecht could afford to eat roast beef sandwiches or tuna salad for lunch. But the widowed 78-year-old now has to skimp on her meals because her Social Security benefits haven’t kept up with the rising costs for food, housing and health care in recent years. A retired graphic designer, Albrecht estimates she’s paying $100 more a month at the supermarket than she was before inflation started skyrocketing in 2021. Her landlord increased the monthly rent by a total of $65 over the past two years, her utility bills are larger and some of the seven medications she takes daily after suffering a heart attack have gotten more expensive. She hasn’t had a haircut in more than a year, though she doesn’t like to wear her hair so long. “I’m down to eating ramen for lunch, which I never ate in my life until recently,” said Albrecht, an Indiana, Pennsylvania, resident, who relies primarily on $1,163 in monthly Social Security payments. “If it’s not marked down, I just don’t eat it. I haven’t eaten beef since I don’t know when. I can’t afford it.” https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/14/business/social-security-buying-power-inflation/index.html
  11. Your daughter wishes to move to the US and her Mother is agreeable?
  12. This does not feel like a US Immigration query but I am not sure.
  13. I would think it is extremely unlikely for a K1, more something for married couples.
  14. What is worrying is that Omar seems to have had the support of the regime, if that does not worry you I do not know what to say.
  15. That confuses me, I am not going to look for it now but there was an article in the Guardian written by some Jewish religious type, I did not check to see if he was legit, but probably was, going on about the recent events in the UK. The people he was siding with were the people who hate him and would be happy to see him dead. I think he considers himself mainstream, I know there is at least one sect who think Israel should not be in existence, the time has not come etc. I came to the conclusion that he actually holds 2 incompatible belief systems and can not recognise the incongruity and was trying to meld them together.
  16. CNN — Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz once praised a cleric and leader in the Muslim community who has spread antisemitic content on Facebook, according to video newly revealed by the Washington Examiner. The video features Walz, who was chosen last week to be Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate, speaking at an event hosted by the Muslim American Society of Minnesota during his first gubernatorial campaign in 2018, according to the Examiner. In the video, Walz praises Imam Asad Zaman, executive director of the organization hosting the event, as a “master teacher” and briefly touches on their shared history. “I would like to first of all say thank you to Imam. I am a teacher, so when I see a master teacher, I know it,” Walz says in the video. “Over the time we’ve spent together, one of the things I’ve had the privilege of is seeing the things in life through the eye of a master teacher to try and get the understanding, listening today to the stories and what it means.” https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/13/politics/asad-zaman-tim-walz-hamas/index.html
  17. Should s/he just not take the win?
  18. USCIS use normal definitions If you earn say $4k a month your current income is $48k a year. Are her parents and sister her dependents?
  19. Well there are 3 of you so I assume yes
  20. Home Depot issues a warning about the economy https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/13/investing/home-depot-earnings-housing “During the quarter, higher interest rates and greater macro-economic uncertainty pressured consumer demand more broadly, resulting in weaker spend across home improvement projects,” Ted Decker, Home Depot’s CEO, said in a news release.
  21. Is there a TEA who want a promissory note? Seems an odd thing to do, you want to stage your investment? The return on investment, and of course the return of capital will be dependent on how well the TEA performs. I like to look at is as buying a GC. I am sure there are good TEAs and not so good ones like any other investment.
