SuperDuper! reacted to Penguin_ie in Horses could soon be slaughtered for meat in US
I see no difference in slaughtering and eating horse meat to keeping rabbits for meat, or pigs, or chicken.

God made these animals for us to eat i would not prefer horse meat but others like it so be it. I eat at KFC once or twice a month and have BBQ from slaughtered cow so what.

I think no matter how the animal is killed they help feed the world. I think animals have no rights if they had a voice then that be a different story.

SuperDuper! reacted to Ron and Rhea in Age difference of fiance to fiancee?
Hey Peter_Pan, your thoughts are offensive to me as I am older than my fiance, I am 51 and she's 27....I do not have a saggy butt, however I do take care of myself and train at a gym. I've seen many guys quite a bit older than me walking around in the shower and their buttocks are sublime, haha...I've also seen big fat #### younger guys, who's asses look like 50lbs of chewed bubblegum, so what?
I am not beyond some assistance from Dr. Levitra, however, again, I know plenty of guys half my age who also partake when they feel the need.
I think the point is your opinion is just that, your opinion, it means jack to me....Rlogan gave you some logic you could not come back at....I can feel a bit of jealousy in your posts, why hate, let people live their lives and mind your own 'bidnezz'.....

Sure it is: He loves what she's got, and she loves what he's got, and therefore they end up loving each other.

One word: Get a Shark Lawyer, one with a bad tie and a comb over. (ok, 10 words, but you get my drift. Show no mercy, and claim your life back. Good Luck.)

SuperDuper! got a reaction from Merrytooth in Expecting
Well let's see. How does a pregnancy happen?? It ain't from drinking the tap water. It happens because one set of glands was urgently calling out to another, and no protection was used. And, NO, the pregnancy need not be documented in the 129-F application. No check box for that on the form, and it serves no good purpose to attach a statement. No expedite would be granted to a high fraud rate country, as others have said here. Good luck!
Peace.

SuperDuper! got a reaction from Rufus2012 in POE with over $10,000
For us, "monetary instruments" includes declaring over $10K in TimBits when crossing next week (we're stocking up for the winter, and inviting Charles over). Forget investing in gold bars!

It's ok. Get a cat. If you understand cats, you will be able to understand people. We will welcome you soon to knowing your fellow man.

SuperDuper! got a reaction from Snag in VJ member about child's death in Vietnam
No matter what country my child is in, If he were sick, I would admit him immediately to the FINEST hospital in the land, no matter what the cost or how much overtime I would have to work.
I would NOT wait around for the consulate to decide my child's life or death fate if he's ill.
Peace.

SuperDuper! reacted to Casprd in Food Stamps
Wrong. One of the things you must show to the CO is that they beneficiary won't be a public burden. If the petitioner is on food stamps then they are themselves a "public burden" and their fiancee will be also. I know someone who was on government and union disability and more than double the poverty guidelines but they were rejected at the consulate because of this.
another concerning thing with the OP is the tourist visa bit. My first impression is this will turn in to one of those "my fiancee is here on a tourist visa and we want to adjust status" situations.
My advice to the petitioner is to get your financial house in order and then start the process. Yes it is difficult to wait but it is just as difficult to try to support a family if you can't afford to support yourself.

SuperDuper! got a reaction from Nagishkaw in Trick or Treat.... Do your kids go it alone?
Too old to be trick or treating. Should be hitting the chemistry books instead, if they want a chance to amount to something. Mommy can buy them some candy anytime.

You have more than enough. More to the point, you have class A evidence for every of the 3 pillars of the RoC: habitation, taxes, and finances. I'd call this a home run.

SuperDuper! got a reaction from Neonred in Rich People Create Jobs!
What are the optimum socio-economic conditions that "innovation" can take place?
Innovation never seems to come out of tropical, Caribbean regions, for example. (Or from the Amish, unless you like the latest in horse and buggy technology.)
Can even crack-head ghetto gangstas be innovators? (oh maybe a hit rap song or two, but we are talking about at least building a better mouse trap or something equally useful for society)
Or are Harvard, Yale dropouts more likely to innovate? Are poor people or rich people more likely to get there?
Seems that it takes money to innovate anything worth innovating.
Only a few glory stories like Steve Jobs or the HP guys founding a Co in their garage ever come along in our lifetime, and even they didn't make it big until the rich guys came along and backed 'em.
Peace.

If you don't agree with the conditions of bringing a foreign bride into your life, then just go to match.com and get a plump, drama-free girlfriend with baggage there. It's as SIMPLE as that.....LOL!
