Next time, you should trust your fiancee with regards to financial matters.. You should given the money to your fiancee when you are still in your house or hotel room. Maybe, shes old enough to communicate with fellow filipino.. anyway, enjoy your stay in the philippines..

It's not up to USCIS to determine whether you filed the right form or not. They have plenty to do without babysitting people. It's up to the individual involved to do their own research and follow instructions correctly. This is in no way the fault of USCIS.

They have stated that the drug conviction has no possible waiver ( meaning EVER) so that he is permanently denied coming. You have shown you can live there by doing so. I don't think there is much hope of ever getting a visa for him to enter the US unless immigration changes its attitude about drugs and guns

If you are considering ending a relationship because of this fear then maybe you should reconsider the relationship and stop wasting time and money and the emotional damage that will come.

Some people here are giving really bad advice and violating the Visa Journey terms of service by suggesting the OP work illegally.
You CANNOT work without work authorization or a green card. Period. That means anything that you get paid for. You cannot babysit, you cannot work in a restaurant, nothing. That is the unfortunate truth. Despite what you see here, you DO need papers even just to babysit. Yes, many people do it anyway but it is still illegal and you would not be able to count that income towards an affidavit of support anyway.
Additionally, the idea that babysitting is non-taxable income (even when done legally) is false. Babysitting, like any other job, is taxable. Unlike a job through a large company where taxes are taken up front, however, many babysitters and nannies instead pay at the end of the year.

There is no pick up at the embassy, but you can arrange to pick it up at the DHL location.

Seems you are well settled in UK over your wife here in USA, better option for you would be to move your wife and son to UK and then you would not miss out on spending time with your son.
You have good job and making enough money to live comfortably, you dont have to worry about making to rent payments and you can enjoy your life better in UK.

Neither of these benefits will increase, because your status when you have AOS will be that of a LPR. A LPR doesn't quality for these benefits until after 5 years of being as LPR, unless there is a Medical emergency reason.

You should be concern because your finance is having financal issues, and you will not be able to even work, until 4 to 6 months after you have arrived if you'll have the funds to AOS.

-- What should I do first, since we are so close to the green card approval?
    Withdraw the petition.
-- Do I withdraw the affidavit of support that I gave last year, or just refuse to do the new one?
Refuse to do a new one
-- Is it best to just send him home ASAP, and start divorce proceedings, and stop the immigration ... or does he have to stay while I get things done? He has family here whom he can stay with (could they pick up his sponsorship from me, or would he have to go home and start over?)
You can not send him home, you can offer to buy the ticket. He would start over again.
Why not just take a break?

Bryan Ryan - please fill in your timeline so that it can help others, thanks! Also read through the CR1 forum or the shortcuts - there is a post that tells you how to track the package, I think its pinned or in the shortcuts
Sorry to say, I don't have any encouragement - it could take a month or more to get an interview, so I doubt you will get it within the next two weeks - even if you could get the interview in the next two weeks, it will take at least a week for him to get the visa. I would keep emailing the embassy with 1st request, 2nd request,..... and your KIN number in the reference line - to be safe I would try to make alternate child care arrangements.

LIFE'SJOURNEY got a reaction from cmoore25 in Will an overstay affect my visa chances?
I am not really understanding your concern or problem, due to the weather some flights will be cancelled, the airlines will re-book you on another flight out within 72 hours. This 72 hours should have no ill effect on your pending visa, nor should it affect your VWP, since it can be explained.
If you are trying to over-stay longer than the 72 hours, then you will be your own judge and jury with immigration on this one.

Clarification. My natural born son was born abroad. I am a naturalized USC. So I have to file an I-130 in order to bring my son here. The way I understand it, I can file an N-600 for him if he and I live together for 6 months or more. But he has to get here on a visa or petition first before he can qualify for citizenship under me.

One or two days over will not matter, but if you take a month to re-book, then you will probably have a problem with your VWP. You should know by now if your flight for tomorrow is cancelled, since airlines have started cancelling flights since yesterday.
