    That's why you can't laminate the card. All states need your social security number as proof of identity. A new immigrant definitely needs it

    Ok. So there would always be a name change document either from uscis or the court. I had a coworker claim social security administration changed her name with just the passport and no document of name changed when she became a US citizen.

    I'm I correct that uscis gives you a name change document if you change your name when you become a citizen? I would think that they would or is it done through a court order?

    You only get the letter if the 751 is applicable. Merely filing the form doesn't guide that it would be approved

    Both parties must apply in person with identification for marriage license

    You already have a Green Card. It's the entry stamp and visa in your passport
