I would definitely make a concerted effort to organize yourself and keep documentation together.  Additionally, I would start a spreadsheet with all travel history when you leave the US and update religiously.  If you are asked to provide information, you will be required to do so in a timely manner. If you plan to naturalize at some point, you will need this information and your travel history. Have your partner help you, if you need to, but please take it seriously.

If you have the old computer, I would have the hard drive pulled and attempt to recover your data.  It is legitimately important and USCIS isn't going to accept "my dog ate my homework" as an excuse, if you know what I mean.

Immigration is a privilege, not a right.  We all need to remember we've requested the opportunity to come to the US and reside permanently and that it's not a guarantee.

OP, historical processing times have varied widely.  Our AOS in 2018/19  (straightforward also) took like 13 months with an interview.  ROC took 18 months, no interview.  There were people here on VJ with timelines similar to ours who had much shorter and much longer wait times.   There is not always rhyme or reason, and the local field office greatly impacts it.

Like others are saying, start reading and following the threads here on VJ that align with your timeline.  The more you read and research, the more likely you are to be successful with US immigration.

all - please note that political discussions should only take place in
    https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/145-current-events-and-hot-social-topics/
politics should not be discussed anywhere else other than in that forum as it often turns into a slagging match between members.
moderators then show up.  thread bans, deletions, death, and worse happens then.  would not recommend.

The thing is, each case is unique and there are many variables...

For example, my AOS was relatively fast, around 8.5 months. I was lucky, somebody who filed few weeks after me, probably was affected due to COVID. I got appoved few days before the lockdown started.

With I-751, the processing time was 7 months when I filed, but I ended up waiting 20.5 months. All cases in my batch were delayed by 4-5 months. Somebody I know filed case 2 weeks after me and got approved 5 months before me.

    It's even more than that.
If you scroll down below your photo on ANY profile it should state all their details if they've put any effort into being a VJ member. As you've said, you can do it by phone so if one can post, they can fill out their profile too.
Their profile is not complete at all beyond I129F FILING, never mind K1 Visa Consular data and now AOS and EAD filing and biometrics.
A complete profile not only helps us answer posts without having to ask a trillion questions BUT it also allows silent readers to educate themselves and prevents mass confusion of new ppl who read and can't make the conclusions most others can. The value of that data is immeasurable.
#1: I learned a lot here so now I pay back by helping. My time and help is free with the understanding that VJ stats are important to ALL members so it's everyone's duty to pay back. Having an incomplete one is selfish.

This is the reason... Also like @Dashinka said, you will see the "Estimated" time rise and fall over the course of time because they have no good algorithm to actually give you a good estimate. My brother works in IT for a Federal Gov't agency and he says that government systems are always at least 3-4 generations behind in terms of software versions, hardware and technology.

@K1visaHopeful is eluding to you haven't done a very basic update.  Basic or not, it assists with predicting timelines.  Profiles can be updated from mobile devices.

As for timing, it's all up to case loads and the times stated in your My USCIS profile are a bit of a crapshoot and not typically that accurate.

cause there are like 3 million applicants who are think their case is perfect and they should all get adjudicated in like 3 days after they file.  More applicants + finite resources = more delays. its the government ..

Estimated processing times under MyProgress tab are a joke. Do not believe it, they're known to be super inaccurate.

Processing times seem to follow a sine wave model and it appears the I485 is heading toward a peak but hopefully they will come down soon.  When my wife adjusted her status after we married AOS times were fairly long especially for those that had the interview waived (there were members here actively asking how they could switch their waiver to an interview so they could get their GC faster), but my wife had an interview and got her GC in about 6 months.  You are still in the 6 month window, so hopefully something will break soon. Also you mentioned Casper (I assume Wyoming), but for some reason that office does not show up in the processing time look up.  All you can really do is wait and assume you will get an interview.

    Good Luck!

I was referring to your AOS data below and EAD data above and below (EAD is blank but youve filed).
You can see when you scroll down that you only have an I129F timeline not even your consulate timeline or data nor your AOS or EAD.
Knowing your AOS Local Field office which would be input your AOS Data at the bottom of your timeline would have been helpful for me to help you distinguish your current timeline from the website.
You can locate your local field office by using the online local field office locator on the website.
Each LFO has its own timeline. LFOs can be in the same state even and have a vastly different timeline.
Are you looking at YOUR LFOs timeline on the website? It's that where you got 300 days as of now?
I won't report it but likely someone will. My point was it was unnecessary.
I highly recommend joining your monthly VJ AOS filing Forum to learn the basics and to discuss with your filing peers.
And I still ask that you complete your timeline as it is missing many details that would have helped me to help you with this post.
You can input your FILING info for both AOS and EAD and would include filing dates, locations filed to, SCs/LFOs and data for Noa1 received, biometrics dates etc simply because you've filed.
VJ statistics help everyone while our answers help you personally but we need to be able to see your data to answer you or help you properly.

    Also note:
    1. Your VJ I765 timeline is blank although you've stated you applied.
    2. You were eligible to apply for I131 which would have given you Advanced Parole to travel. You can check the timeline for that and may be interested in applying if timelines are short. You should investigate what they are at the receiving service center for K1 I131 applicants by joining the current VJ K1 AOS Filing monthly group. That topic is often discussed.

Your I485 will be decided upon by an adjudicator at your local field office unless it gets sent to the NBC for a secondary review.
Using the actual processing times website of your local field office for I485 to see your estimated timeline over looking at the timeline in your account is quite important.
Your VJ timeline isn't complete so I can't look it up for you but you can Google "USCIS processing times" and input your details into the calculation to see.
Please complete your timeline here first!
You'll probably want to edit your post to remove that part before you get reported.
    Politics aren't VJ welcome.
Your individual adjudicator will decide that after looking at your I485/I864 package. No one here could really say what each one is looking for other than they follow the policy manual and use THEIR individual discretion.
Processing times often fluctuate every few months.
Many reasons but the most often due to workload transfers.
You can Google "USCIS workload transfers" to understand more.

The initial dose of Hep B vaccine satisfies immigration requirements.  Only the first dose of a vaccine series is required for immigration purposes.  Your daughter will probably need the other 2 doses to meet school requirements, but I'm sure the school will let you know exactly what she needs.

smaller cities has less civil surgeon hence they charge whatever they want, while big cities like NYC, LA, Chicago, hundreds of USCIS appointed civil surgeon that have competitive price. sometimes i think to drive further away to get cheaper price actually its not a bad idea (i drive electric, so gas price is not really an issue).

where i live at that time i need i-693 there are only 7 civil surgeon and the cheapest are almost $400 (almost 3 years ago) without any vaccines ( i have complete vaccines that's needed & i got it not because of i-693 requirement). now, it's down to 5 civil surgeons and the price is getting ridiculous and their office to be funny and said " u have to be our patients aka u have to get a primary care from our office" which is stupid since i have one and i don't want to switch just because i need to see civil surgeon.

while i did call almost 80 civil surgeons in NYC/NJ in 1 day, and their pricing is incredibly stupid cheap. i can even find civil surgeon in Flushing (local chinatown in Queens, NY) for $95 without vaccine at that time

    Vaccinations are a choice.
If you weren't immigrating to the US, you'd choose whether or not to be vaccinated. Other organizations like school or employment in some countries require vaccines too.

My issue is not understanding what you aren't understanding because when I ask a direct question I get no response to be able to help you.

If you are asking about school vaccines, I can move this post over to a forum where you can get answers about everyday life in the US as an immigrant.

I am answering from the K1 AOS IMMIGRATION perspective as that's where you've posted this.

I485 instructions state when anyone applying for a AOS would have to submit their medical documents. It also explains the K1 exception to having to do that.

Other AOSer who are not K1s OR who ARE K1s who have not completed their vaccinations (which still could be you but you haven't answered clearly) are required to complete a medical in the US by a civil surgeon and to submit an I693.
WHEN that is to be done is clarified in the I693 instructions.
That MAY BE YOU so after you've examined your DS3025 for completeness and read through the policy manual on how DS3025s are evaluated to ensure yours IS or ISN'T complete, AND determined IF  you need an I693 or not, it would be wise to read through the I693 instructions too to know WHEN to complete and WHEN and HOW to submit.

As we can't see your records, you're going to have to do the researching.

Schools have requirements that immigration does not.  On the immigration side, since you have already filed AOS, all you can do now is wait to see if they are happy with your medical results and vaccines.  If not, they will let you know what is lacking.  For the school side, you just have to comply with whatever they ask.

K1/2 does not require a complete medical, that can be done or finished in the US.

I cant tell if you did, certainly sounds like you did not so will need to complete the Medical in the US so you can adjust. Civil Surgeons are independent and can basically charge what they want, may need to ring around, get whatever you are missing elsewhere first.

    Schooling is a State issue.

    Amazeballs!
So the checkbox is now on page 2 of the 2 pages I stated instead of page 1 of the 2 pages I stated.
Still shouldn't be too hard to self clarify for the OP then.

Please read the checkbox on your DS3025 for self clarity.
    First page. Bottom left.
"K visa applicant voluntary completed vaccination requirements" will be checked if complete. What you have explained/extra pages (the DS3025 Vaccination record has 2 pages)/disclaimer needing to do more vaccines could simply be a doctor's RECOMMENDATIONS and have nothing to do with immigration.

Only your adjudicator will be able to clarify whether your Panel Physician completed the form adequately. They do have guidelines that they must adhere to when judging the PPs ability to fill it out correctly. You can read through those guidelines in the USCIS manual for vaccination requirements.

Please also indicate clearer if you are asking about immigration or everyday life living in the US (school vaccinations) so your thread can be moved to the correct forum.

Your post is a bit confusing, but the first thing to realize is that school requirements and immigration requirements are not the same.  As mentioned above, if your DS-3025 is marked "complete" then there is a reasonable chance that you won't need anything else to satisfy USCIS.

As for the school vaccines, that is what is confusing.  First, I think you mean your daughter got Td, not Tdap, since Tdap includes pertussis.  Why she would have gotten just Td is a mystery.  I am also confused why the pharmacist thinks it is a problem to give a Tdap dose, since the recommended interval for dose 1 to dose 2 is only 4 weeks, and dose 2 to 3 is 6 months.  I went through getting K-2 kids vaxxed for school a few years ago.  We just took our DS-3025 (a copy of course) and had them add the new vaccines to that so they would all be listed together.  As for chicken pox, I think your choices will be getting the vaccine or getting a titer to prove immunity.  Nobody should be looking at pictures to confirm chicken pox history.

Pretty much any nearby lab should be able to perform a Tdap titer test and determine if she has the required antibodies or not, same for varicella/chicken pox. As for whether it is safe or not to do an extra Tdap I'd defer to what the primary care doctor says.

hi all, no sure how to reply specifically as this site is always slightly confusing for me, so here are my comments. My medical has an extra sheet saying clearly that I need further vaccinations, and I also signed a document saying that I know that and I will provide them later. For Covid they wrote D as deferred. Under flu though they wrote K1 under the date, and nothing else. Not sure what that means! And sorry for totally messing up the name of Civil Surgeons ha ha! In the UK Civil Servants can be lawyers, doctors etc

Dragonsarereal got a reaction from Green Lady in UK Bank Accounts/TorFX Transfer
hi! Just moved to the USA a month ago. I would suggest to keep the UK account open. An officer at Barclays told me that unless I tell them I moved, they simply cannot find out. I am using Wise but I had 3 accounts with them and it's proving complicated to move funds around as for two of them I cannot find out the sort code and account number. Ha ha. (I even called Wise and their own operator had no idea!)

The number 1 reason to keep your UK account is that if anything happens, and you must return to the UK, it will be extremely difficult to open a new UK account without proof of residence.
And if you want to rent they will want...a UK account.

I read in many expat forums that it's best to keep it. So useful when you go back for holidays, too.
