  1. it's frustrating how slow they're moving, I have a feeling that they put the I-130s on hold for few months or something, some people are 14 months in and still not approved.
  2. That's good to hear, she's been here before twice already but that was before we filed,; she has some work events internationally already booked, she will bring those confirmations with her in case is she's questioned about this.
  3. the USCIS website has the address under "Where to File" https://www.uscis.gov/i-129f , I wouldn't send it to any other address.
  4. That's great to hear, my wife is visiting me during Christmas and she's a bit nervous about being questioned although she has no intent to overstay.
  5. Hi, did you have any issues or challenges when you entered the US since you have a pending i-130?
  6. Oh interesting, I hope they move faster, other service center are much faster than Potomac/California, not sure why that is.
  7. So who do they send these requests to? is it for the beneficiary or the petitioner? it's kinda reckless for them to wait for 10 months without following up!!!
  8. The petition was missing a key question, although you might have listed your spouse's address abroad but that's not sufficient in the USCIS's mind since you didn't state the Consulate city/country , I personally think the USCIS shouldn't allow petitions to be submitted without that question answered. Good luck
  9. Good catch, that is exactly what i meant, if it is NOT completed, i missed the NOT. Thanks
  10. There is a specific question on the I-130 form that must be filled, question 62 ( page #8 ) asks about the consulate/country where the beneficiary will be interviewed at, if it is completed, the USCIS holds the approved i-130. I believe that you have no choice but to fill the form, it sucks but that's the existing process, I'm not sure if anyone had any success with this without filing the i-824.
  11. You can type it in a word document then save it as a PDF, that's what I did with mine.
  12. You can print the photos at Walmart or any other photo store if your spouse can send you an electronic photo. The mailing address is listed here https://www.uscis.gov/i-129f , you also need to send the receipts with your I-129F form.
  13. Thanks, I already filed K-3, I'm going to stay hopeful although my case is at Potomac
  14. Congrats, do you think K-3 helps regardless of the service center?
  15. Since you applied online, you should see a document under Documents tab with the receipt notice, we both have the same priority date. Can you please update your timeline so it helps everyone?
  16. I don't think smiling with showing teeth is allowed, this is from the photo tool website where it shows acceptable vs unacceptable photos https://tsg.phototool.state.gov/photo
  17. I applied online today and got NOA1 today as well, the status also changed to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS", not sure if this is common or not, I know that i was initially assigned to Nebraska SC but was transferred to Potomac SC.
  18. What documents (originals) need to be sent for the interview? I'm assuming some of these documents will be mailed with i-864, not sure if they're also required to be taken to the interview as well.
