We bought an entire copy of everything we’d submitted with the N400+ any new updated evidence, such as bank accounts. The officer didn’t ask for anything
Same with my interview...took two thick binders, did not need a single thing- officer said it's a rock solid case & more than sufficient evidence and moved to civics test and englisch test right away.

Actually, more evidence is required for AOS than for the K-1. Way more.
Also, think more long-term.they want evidence again for the I-751 and , if chosen , for N-400 . I dumped them basically with evidence for every application, yes lots of work, but at my combo interview for I-751/N-400 the officer looked at the huge file on his desk and said: rocksolid case, more than sufficient evidence- the work paid off😉

Hi everyone! My apologies if this has already been asked/answered or if it sounds dumb.
I came here on a K1 and am about to adjust my status. I'm also looking into how to get a bank account and/or driver's licence shortly. However, I see that for both of these things they require proof of address. I'm a bit stuck with this because, typically proof of address is a bank statement, government-issued mail or some kinda bill - I don't have any of these. I have an SSN - not sure if I can use some part of that for it. Any ideas on what I can do? If I get put on my husband's lease can I then use something from that as a proof of address?
Let me know!
I had for example still mail that was forwarded to my address in the US, coming from Germany. I notified them about my adress change when I moved- and because uscis only needs to see name & adress, there was no need for certified translation.

Fair I don't think I will go through the hassle either! Congratulations again!
Thank you!😃 Also, the law changed a few years ago- I'm not even eligible anymore. You need to have bank account, insurances, own property and still be paying taxes for example- I sold my apartment, no bank acc or insurances anymore, so no BBG🤷♀️😉

whooo congrats!! Did you get the BBG beforehand?
I didn't apply for one- didn't want to....it's kinda no fish- no meat....lol And I don't wanna go back anyways😉

🇺🇲 all done👍 had this morning my combo interview- and it was a piece of cake! Super friendly officer - he started with saying my I-751 is approved because we had a rock solid case with more than sufficient evidence 🙂 Then the civics test...easy peasy, same for Englisch test - i was super nervous....for no reason🤣🤣🤣 It really is the biggest step- but the easiest! Same day oath a few hours later , outside , nice setting😃👍 I'm going to stick around here, and maybe do my part of helping others- like I found so much help/support or simply sharing experiences in this awesome community VJ 👍Thank y'all !!!😉

Sounds good. I didn't send them over a letter to request a combo interview, as I was thinking they'll figure out my pending case...
I filed N-490 in May and included NOA for I-751- and just got the letter(s) about the combo interview for October 23rd. So they have everything at my fieldoffice.

Our officer wanted to see evidence from time of initial filing of the I-751 to interview date. He was especially interested in bank statements, leases, drivers licenses addresses, etc.
Thank you- I want to take the required evidence and new evidence since initial filing. Just because they got already the bank acc copies from AOS until filing for N-400 ( basically twice) I'm thinking to take all originals since I-751 until now plus a few from opening one acc in 2014 until now and highlight utility bills, trips, car purchases and so on. Showing shared responsibilities. Good idea?

One question while preparing for Combo interview: do I really need to make another set of bank statement copies from marriage until now - they got already all of those for I-751 and N-400 up to May'23 , or is it enough to just add the most recent ones/ since applying for N-400? I plan to take the originals for at least since I751. Any thoughts?

Got clarification: received the letter, it adresses both applications and specifically says to bring my spouse so it is going to be a combo interview 🤷♀️😉
I really can't forget about the interview date: got a total of 3 letter for it now🤔🤣🤣

October 11th! I found out a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been meaning to get on here to update! I’m changing my last name to add my husbands to it so I don’t think mine will be same day? I hope it is though!
Great! Congrats 👏 let us know, how it goes! And good luck🍀

The document asking her to appear was a ”Vorladung“ and then after that she got a letter saying the ”Vorbezeichnete Ermittlungsverfahren wurde eingestellt“. Hopefully that helps. Does that mean she was officially charged? Or was it just a questioning?
It means that it is just for questioning- not being charged.

“Charge” has a very specific legal meaning in the 5 major countries where English is the dominant language.
While the word her language might translate to “charge”, she was not charged by U.S. legal standards. To be charged a prosecutor would need to be involved.
If I might chip in here: I'm german: if the wording is : wird zur Last gelegt - it means, being accused of.But not charged - that's a difference. It would need to say : sie werden beschuldigt .....und deswegen angezeigt - it would mean being charged.
