Keep us posted! I have similar timeline as you guys as well.. Thanks!

So, I haven't gotten a 48 month extension, yet. But already thinking about the N-499application: should I just send the documents required by uscis or add already the once you're supposed to bring to the interview, ike bank statements and so on ??🤔 how are you guys going about it? I'm eligible in May.

Just got an NOA today. Was hoping it was for an Interview or biometrics but nope. It was a 48 month extension letter. But on the bright side, I know for sure the case was transfered to the National Benifits Center.

Heres to hoping it doesn't actully take 4 years. :clock:

🤔 great....🤷‍♀️ I see you applied for ROC at the same time , May '22... so I assume my NOA extension is on the way,too.....

This is insane... But I have international travel coming up and my 24 month extension is expiring later this year, so I am fine. I just hope that they will actually send updated extension letters for existing petitions!

They will,I'm pretty sure🙄pfff......Just makes me wonder, if applying for N-400 is actually speeding up the process 🤔

Good. So now they’re going to roll out the 36 month extension letter to all us 2022 filers, instead of using that man force to work on 751 cases that should be approved in two days at most

Unbelievable....I filed in May '22...got 24 months letter.  ..hopefully I don't get the new extension letter now.Still gonna file for N-400 upcoming May

Thanks for the information, if any of my family is not present to witness our marriage in court I hope it wont be a problem and what are the forms do i need to file after we get our marriage certificate ?

You don't need any family members to witness- we had none,it was just me and my wife, and a courthouse employee was the witness!

My girlfriend is from Germany and she want to know can she have a dual citizenship or  give up her German citizenship to become an American citizen??

It's not that easy anymore to keep the german citizenship she should read about it thoroughly on the german state website! You need to proof good reasons,to keep it. But,even as a firmer german citizen, if needed you can always get that citizenship back I've been through that reading and thought process, cause I'm german, but eligible to apply for us citizenship in May'23- not keeping german citizenship 😉

    No, no interview.

    Just the biometrics in June!

    I cannot believe it.

Now I am planning to go visit my family in January (bought the tickets etc.) as it was too expensive for the Holidays and of course, the letter says that I should stay in the US until I receive my new card, which should arrive withing 60 days... argggggghhh. But I'm still super mega happy :)

    That is just amazing!!!!!👍🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🙂

I am on board! lol...I got the letter of the reused biometric.. But, I saw others did not get the letter, as long as it's updated in your system, it should be fine!

Ah,ok....weird though, that some get a letter and some don't. But both accounts say,it's been reused/ applied, that's the important part 👍
