  1. Multiple speakers and a venue pulled out of a prominent Texas activist group’s July conference after The Texas Tribune reported on its plans to amplify white nationalist figures and rhetoric. Billed as the 15th anniversary celebration for True Texas Project, the conference agenda claims that there is a “war on white America,” and urges attendees to embrace once-fringe ideologies such as Christian nationalism or the Great Replacement Theory, which claims that there is an intentional, often Jewish-driven, effort to destroy white people through immigration, interracial marriage or the LGBTQ+ community. On Wednesday, the Tribune reported that the conference lineup features figures with ties to antisemites and extremists, including Paul Gottfried, a far-right author who mentored neo-Nazi Richard Spencer. Since then, at least three of the 12 listed speakers have said they will no longer partake in the event, two of whom said they were unaware of the themes and lineup when they agreed to participate. https://www.texastribune.org/2024/06/13/true-texas-project-christian-nationalism/
  2. 'Fake' lawyer 'who won all 26 of his cases despite no legal training' is arrested in Kenya The 'fake lawyer' won all 26 of his cases in various Kenyan courts - despite not having any legal training, according to local media. But he has now been arrested by the Rapid Action Team of the Nairobi Branch of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) after his case caused public outrage and the branch received many complaints. While the case caused outrage, especially among legal officials, others deemed the 'fake lawyer' impressive. Kenya's Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) told the BBC that he was a 'brilliant young mind' who made it 'without traditional qualifications'. Another of the man's supporters is Mike Sonko, Nairobi's controversial former governor, posted a video with the man on X. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12636127/Fake-lawyer-won-26-cases-despite-no-legal-training-arrested-Kenya.html

  5. You can do the FOIA s yourself and save that $ , as easy as posting your thread. ‘Here are links She cleared the hurdle when they granted the B 2…and whatever Inadmissibility may pop up at adjustment stage, your health hardship will overcome . https://www.uscis.gov/laws-and-policy/other-resources/unlawful-presence-and-inadmissibility If you again seek admission within 10 years of departing or being removed from the United States, after having accrued one year or more of unlawful presence during a single stay, regardless of whether you leave before, during, or after removal proceedings; or Permanently, if you reenter or try to reenter the United States without being admitted or paroled after having accrued more than one year of unlawful presence in the aggregate during one or more stays in the United States. https://foia.state.gov https://www.uscis.gov/records/request-records-through-the-freedom-of-information-act-or-privacy-act https://www.justice.gov/eoir/freedom-information-act-foia
  6. I am quasi shocked they gave her a B-2 considering she was married to a USC and spend her entire life ( sans the the 5 yrs ) living in the US. ‘That being said, just go ahead and file her adjustment asap…whatever issues may arise, you will then be able to face them here. ‘Although as a minor there is no unlawful presence and she had TPS protection from the get go …she only has one EWI entry ..not two. Her second entry was with inspection , so file away . Do FOIA to EOIR ( Immigration Court, ask her parents for location ) and FOIA for USCIS ( for her TPS file ) DOS ( for her visa file) You said attorney dropped the ball and did not file…did you pay them their retainer and USCIS filing fee?
  7. Within 2 months of marriage you filed for divorce…thus knew the adjustment was sham. Days or a month later you start new relationship ( skip to 3 months after filing divorce)..and while still married and first spouse ‘s adjustment is still pending, you leave the States and marry in Syria. Bigamy. Your current marriage is bigamous , and deemed a criminal act in most US States . ..so a bit more than simply “not valid “for US immigration. That first green card was not yours to give away, you were complicit in the sham and an immigration benefit was obtained by fraud. Does it matter that this time …it’s the real thing? Not really, if they find /allege fraud. … K-1 is a waste of time. ..and you will have a very long road ahead even w I-130.
  8. Do you see many E B3 complete the process ?

  10. There are multiple companies like BVD Solutions and others whose sites show fees/prices of approx $15-20K per person for entry level fast food positions. Welcome …a few Nurses that post regularly on forum . Hope they get a chance to say hello. So how long did it take?
  11. Out of curiosity, how long did the EB 3 take from start to finish? I would be guessing 6 years and a cost of $ 30 K …am I totally wrong?
  12. You are free to divorce and your LPR status is not conditional on staying married for any specified period. 5 years from when you got green card, go ahead and nationalize.
  13. Is there a most recent entry or a different USC spouse from the 2019 post? Are you asking about 90 days from entry or 90 from marriage…if your last entry was in 2019, you may be confusing something. Were you married during prenatal care and birth …were medical expenses covered by USC’ spouse’s insurance?
  14. ICE conducts single adult, family unit removal flights June 7 WASHINGTON — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a component agency of the Department of Homeland Security, working in close coordination across the department, including with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, continued to facilitate removal flights of single adults and family units between June 3 and June 7. Those included removal flights to Albania, Central America, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Georgia, Mexico, Peru, Romania and Uzbekistan. If a noncitizen arrives and has no legal basis to remain in the United States they are processed and removed quickly, consistent with U.S. law. Over the past year, DHS has removed or returned over 742,000 individuals, the vast majority of whom crossed the southwest border, including more than 111,000 individual family members. Total removals and returns since mid-May exceed removals and returns in every full fiscal year since 2011. https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/ice-conducts-single-adult-family-unit-removal-flights-june-7

  16. A self-described ‘s** poster’ launched a Trump conviction conspiracy theory with one Facebook message On Friday evening, Justice Juan Merchan, the judge who oversaw Donald Trump’s hush money trial in New York, sent a letter to prosecutors and the former president’s legal team alerting them to a strange, post-verdict development in the case. The court noted that it had become aware of a comment on the New York Courts’ Facebook page from a user named Michael Anderson, who claimed, prior to the guilty verdict being announced, “My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted.” The post was made one day before the historic verdict that saw Trump convicted of 34 felonies. His post helped launch a new wave of conspiracy theories online with some right-wing posters claiming that the Trump trial was rigged and that the former president already faced a verdict before the jury announced its decision. Some were even demanding a mistrial be called. Others simply labeled him a “troll.” Facebook user “Michael Anderson” made the alarming post. But, the account is lightly used with only four public posts visible. Two of which are repost of recipes. That was until Friday, when posted a few times after his connection to the Trump Trial was revealed. On his page, Anderson describes himself as a “transabled & a professional poster.” In one of the few messages on the page, posted Friday, the account’s owner elaborates on sh**posting, defining such messages as “intentionally designed to derail discussions or cause the biggest reaction with the least effort,” and tells readers, “Take it easy… I’m a professional shitposter.” https://ca.news.yahoo.com/self-described-poster-launched-trump-001243350.html
