jm1409 got a reaction from elmas3oud in Paid NVC fees and both transactions took the money out of my account but the IV fee shows 'NOT PAID'
I paid the AOS fee on 4/17 and then that transaction took the money out of my checking account on 4/18. The NVC portal showed the AOS fee as 'Paid' on  4/20.

I then proceeded to make the payment for the IV fee on 4/20. That transaction took took the money out of my checking account on 4/21. The NVC portal showed the IV fee 'Paid' on 4/23.

Both show paid, so we upload all of our documents and wait for DQ as of 4/25.

As of today, 5/5, I receive an email from NVC about the IV Fee saying "Unfortunately, the receiving bank was unable to accept your payment for the following reason: No Reason Provided." My checking account still has both fees deducted though -- and now the NVC portal is saying 'Not Paid' for the IV Fee and there's a message saying the IV Fee was rejected.

I have read through lots of experiences people have had where it would take a long time to show 'Paid' after they made payment...but that common issue isn't this one. This issue is (I think?) nuanced because the money left my checking account, NVC showed paid, and now it shows unpaid. Has anyone ever heard of this? Should I be worried? What should I do?

*** Moved from IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures to NVC forum, where similar topics about CEAC system issues are discussed ***

As long as you got the DQ email and inbox message, no need to worry about the individual status of the documents.  Your case is already DQ, whether the documents are "submitted" or "accepted".

I just had this happen to me to this morning. It even so showed start now on my Ceac to start finishing my documents. On the email it says to just contact nvc inquiry and send them a statement from your bank account showing it was deducted. I paid mine 4/21 not sure why they would do this now

You just go to the interview, after which they will issue 221g, put your case on hold and they wait until your medical exam results  get to them. It’s pretty common

June 14 filed and AR same day. Texas service center and was transferred to California service center. Filed K3 PD: July 8 and also in California service center. Patiently waiting…

I’ve seen a quite few approvals this week for IR1/CR1 on Facebook.  I even saw one for June, but not a single one from CSC ☹️

I wouldn't worry much. If you look at the immigration stats page, take a look at the graph with all five SCs noa1-noa2 lines on it.

What I noticed was that the average case processing time has in the last couple months, really started to converge. I have a feeling, that with the advent of online filing, they are moving all the cases to a digital system and are reviewing them first come, first serve (as they should) across all service centers. I think that the inquiry time shown on the USCIS page is probably for legacy filing, considering we are probably 8-10 months away from getting reviewed I wouldn't worry too much...

    June 2022 I-130 filer here!

I submitted 4 I-130 petitions (my spouse and three stepdaughters) on June 2. I filed online, so I got the NOA-1 immediately and got the mailed version several days later - Nebraska Service Center. I filed the I-129F for K3 on June 13, and it arrived to the lockbox on June 22. I received the NOA-1 for that on June 27.

I know there's conflicting reports about the potential advantages or not of filing the K3 paperwork, but I don't mind paperwork, so I didn't mind doing an extra step. If it helps, fantastic! If it doesn't, no biggie.

Best of luck to us all!

I'm not filing K3 as I've heard conflicting reports of what it does and doesn't accomplish.  Fingers crossed for keeping our cases at NSC or if it gets transferred, they go to Texas.

Not only did you not answer my question, but you also offered incorrect information. Vermont is currently at 15 months (14-16 before the last update), thanks though.

    Hi,

we filed online on the 4/27 (i didn't find an April group, sorry but it's almost May)
We got the email confirmation right after we filled out everything (it was already in Actively review) and it said Texas Service Center. A few days later we also got the NOA in mail from Texas Service Center. But i was still curious and asked a few days later the live agent and it seemed like they transferred our case pretty fast to Nebraska Service Center right after we filed.
We also sent in the K3 application and got a confirmation for case was received from Nebraska Service Center.
I just really hope they don't move our case anywhere else as of right now because I'm reading good stuff about Nebraska lately.

Hi guys. We filed online on May 19 and got a receipt within hours. Submitted alot of evidence. I'm very nervous. My spouse also spoke to USCIS regarding expedited service and was told that they would call her within 5-7 days. Today is day 2 of the wait. My NO1 says Texas.

actually my status changed to actively reviewing your case after five days of i797C receipt date.
but the bad thing is that https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/  shows each center is increasing the processing time.
California was 8.5 months, now shows 9.5 months

Hey Everyone i previously posted my SC was Texas because that was what was on the bottom of my receipt notice.. but i just got off the phone with a live agent and he said my SC is actually California! Which im happy about because the processing time is shorter for USC filing I-130 then Texas! So i recommend you guys to call and verify your service centers!

At the Texas Processing Center atleast it says the processing time right now for i129f is 3.5 - 7 months where as the i130 processing time is 10.5 - 14 months. I would think that would be the reason people would try the K3 route? In hopes of cutting down time at the processing center?

Totally!! It's definitely easier and cheaper than a lot of people. I am very blessed for that. I'm not expecting any sort of fast movement to be honest. I just WANT fast movement haha. Should I be waiting until it changes to the next step to file I-129f? SO sorry for all the questions.
