    With a October petition approval you are easily looking at the possibility of a Jan or Feb interview. The visa upon issuance will be valid for entry for 6 mos. after the day of the medical, so if you play your cards right you in theory could delay entry until say Aug of '24

    Depends on the consulate and how many petitions are in the queue in front of you and the capacity of the consulate. 30 to 60 days was typical pre COVID. Not sure where London is currently.

    Of course the letter says it. This is a generic "letter" is used for many different visa types. This part however does NOT apply to a K1 applicant it only applies to immigrant visas to which a K1 is not. This is a well known issue.

    No such thing as a welcome letter from NVC for a K1. The beneficiary will get an email from NVC when the petition is forwarded to your consulate

    The consulate waives the requirement for a police report from Saudi due to unavailability. You do NOT need it.

    The department of state changed the "wet" signature required several years ago. A consulate requiring a "wet" signature would be the exception. The OMB expiration date is NOT the form expiration date. The form goes by Edition date (lower left corner). The current edition is 1/4/23 and remains valid until a new edition is published in say a year ir two.

    Not lies. The consulate accepts a scanned copy of the i-134. It is EXACTLY WHAT I DID.

    We are in November LIN filer too. I didn't get an RFE, all they sent me was a green card. Anyone else experience this?
