As mentioned above, there are so many threads discussing RFE's - I think the general consensus is you either get DQ'd in a couple of days after submitting extra info, or you wait 3 months.
 
I don't believe any rhyme or reason behind it, seems to just be case by case.
 
For me - Everything was accepted, but a request for 1099 form and W2 was made. All income was earned abroad, and we didn't have a 1099, so we uploaded signed statements to confirm that we didn't have the forms and waited 3 months for another review. On my NVC page, everything showed as 'Accepted', except the new documents.
 
So, please don't be heartbroken if you wait 3 months for a review again. Everyone's got their fingers crossed for you guys though - Hopefully you're through in no time.

If you browse through the many tracking threads, you'll see that being put at the back of the line after re-submission of a basic requirement is actually quite common, unfortunately.  Those who needed to re-submit due to a document under the "Other" section (ie. not one of the basic requirements) seemed to have a higher chance of being reviewed quickly.

Does it show accepted or submitted for her tax info? They don’t always let you know if something changes. 
 
I agree, wish more ppl would give more details about what they’ve gone through so that it can help others know what to expect. 
It’s great to be able to come here and get answers or suggestions but it’s even more great if you can try to answer someone else’s question while here asking your own. 
 
NVC was moving cases fast when we got DQed cuz they were one of the few places actually still running at the time. I really hope it wasn’t just a fluke and that what I’m saying to y’all is actually accurate 🥴

I think there is a lot of confusion about submitting new documents. In my case, submitting new documents THEY request. And okay once DQ'd I won't submit anything!! LOL.

Well fellow Applicants & Petitioners, we heard from NVC yesterday but they said we submitted an expired doc. The police certificate was expired, which was true. We actually did not need one according to their rules (my spouse left the country over year ago) and I submitted a copy of their rules along with the expired doc. In any case, good enough we were able to obtain a current police certificate while we were waiting so it's no issue. We just uploaded it. But my concern is, will we go to the back of the line again, or will they quickly review this one document? All other documents changed from uploaded to "accepted". The comment they left was:

Most people have said NVC’s average processing right now is around 94-97 days from submission. 

I had a habit of logging in every day, because when our I130 got approved we didn't get an email or letter until a few days after the status updated online.  
  
This time was different, I got an email on Friday afternoon (US time probably 3 or 4 PM PST) that our status was updated and my heart started racing while I was logging in to check.  
  
The documentarily qualified email came at the same time but I didn't see it until after I logged in to check our status.  
  
The email says "Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case becoming Documentarily Qualified". And the content of it is:

And if people are trying to contrive evidence, USCIS would not publish a list of typical acceptable reasons.

So I honestly can't tell you how I got to my original number, but I messed up and my predicted date should actually be March 25, 2022. Also just to double check this time I took all the data submitted by users in the October thread and the average day is 94 days which falls in line with NVC. My bad lol never been happier to be wrong 😂

I just got DQ'ed today! Submitted the last required document on 10/26/2021. Submitted the last additional documents (under W2, 1099, proof of employment types) on 1/19/2022. This shows that the NVC uses the date for the "required document", not "additional documents". 

Yes hopefully you will hear something this week from NVC, please keep us updated if you hear something. As it give us courage and patience to wait 🙂
