Hey guys quick question . So all my documents in NvC are showing accepted. But they were asking for my joint sponors 2020 tax because they still were not filed at the time we submitted all our other docs.

How long does NVC take to review additional documents if all others are accepted? Or do you go to the back of the line and have to wait another two months or so?

Uploaded asked for docs Feb 1 2022.

They asked for an additional document from me and it was accepted & we were DQED within a day or 2, shouldn’t take very long.

I have a similar issue I  am wondering about. All of our documents were accepted but we had to resubmit the Police Certificate. Will it take just a few days to review since everything else was accepted or will we go to back of the line where it could take months?

So looking at our case, we were notified on October 7th bout them needing something from me and they accepted it on October 8th.
Then on December 4th we uploaded Sidds PCC cuz we didn’t have it till then and we were DQed on Dec 15th.
I can only speak from our experience but that was how long it took for us. You don’t go to back of the line. NVC moves pretty fast.

You probably won’t be notified by NVC after submitting PCC till you get DQed if that was last document they needed. Long as it says accepted next to everything you’re good to go.

Well we submitted our whole packer Oct 30 so we were waiting to be DQ'd this week. So when they contacted us yesterday we thought we were DQ'd, but instead we were notified we needed to submit the document. So that's why I am wondering will it go back to waiting months again.

Nope, they’re working on your case, get them the PCC and you’ll be DQed pretty quick after that.
Have you uploaded PCC yet? If you have, does it say submitted or accepted?

Yes, we submitted as soon as we were notified that we needed it (today). And it says submitted.

Every other document shows accepted.

If you submitted it today it should be accepted by tomorrow or Monday I’d think.

I pray that is the case.

I’m not sure where the belief came that you go to back of the line at NVC when uploading documents, that may be the case at USCIS with 130 stuff but NVC doesn’t do that, least not anymore if they use to.
Once you’ve been DQed, don’t submit anything more to them till AFTER you get your interview date, that can cause your interview date to get pushed back. Once you get your date tho your case is at the Consulate so you can upload the current tax transcripts or whatever documents may be new between being DQed and getting interview date. More important than uploading new ones tho, bring the new tax transcripts or other legal documents with you if you have them.

I think there is a lot of confusion about submitting new documents. In my case, submitting new documents THEY request. And okay once DQ'd I won't submit anything!! LOL.
