It should be before the interview, which is good.
Could be that the embassy does not have the medical information yet on the interview date, since its “just” 3 days, but with everything being digital, it could be there as well.

My medical was a month prior to the interview appointment.
 
In case it wouldn’t be there in your case, the visa does not get issues right away and the officer waits for the medical, then issues the visa, if approved.:) But that might be just a matter of a few days,

so for us it was about 4 weeks until we got the Interview letter.
We received notice that our case was sent to Frankfurt 25th October, and 25th November we received the Interview date.
 
We are on tomorrow, so another 6 Weeks after that.
 
But I‘ve seen some timelines here they are still waiting. Or they haven’t updated their timelines.

I just wanted to answer that this is strange, we were DQ’d October 24th and got out interview letter yesterday.
 
We also have our appointment January 5th.☺️ So we might run into each other then.☺️

We finally got NVC DQ‘d on Monday.
Just an extra note that we wouldn’t meet the income requirements, which is BS. But well, I just need to explain that to the CO then.

If we are lucky, we get an appointment in December and make it for christmas. If not, then January.

Today my status on case tracker change to “ case was sent to the department of state”, I hope get the nvc  welcome letter soon. 

We finally got NVC DQ‘d on Monday.

Some good news today…here is the timeline for us:
 
Center: Vermont
PD: Oct 7 2021
AR: Feb 20 2022
Approved: Aug 29 2022
 
No K3 or other submission. Good luck to all of you…you will all get there in the end! 

We got approved on august 13th, NOA1 26th of october, AR 2nd of march! On to the NVC stage! 
 
Strangely enough we got a notification that our case was (again) under active review. But when we checked the documents in our USCIS account there was one named I-130 approval!

@DeniseL I disagree with your lawyer. And you should start your own thread.

Even though there are more red flags in this case than I can count, I can’t help but think that she will probably get away with it and you are able to provide her with the grand prize she was after. At this point, I am not even sure if/when USCIS even looks into these cases.
 
Maybe it’s the heat, but I am starting to lose my faith that these (pretty obvious) cases of immigration fraud actually get noticed.. It just gets me down.. So many of us here had to jump through all the hoops and be patient in order to do this right, while others just play the system and get away with it.
 
I have no advice for you, you seem to be very aware of what is happening and no matter what we would tell you here, you will most likely continue with the process, so what do you want us to say really? Our remarks/questions will be answered with a “Yes, but…”, so we are not adding any real value here. Nobody here wil help you to justify what is happening..

This process is a hell ride! And it might now crash for us with the Affidavit of support! My husband (USC) needs to change his job because of medical reasons. And nobodu wants to co-sponsor. Lets hope I can count my income towards this. I will continue working for the same company and they would write a verification on that.

I just don’t want to accept the fact that this would be it after waiting so long and being apart for so long, also the Kids. It’s just insane!

So, just when we were talking and thinking about a K3 (&K4) option, we received our approval today. 
Lets see how long the next steps will be.
My vision and affirmation was Halloween 2022 in the US. Lets hope.
