Some get an interview and a lucky few get approvals without interview

Please check the NOA or 751 you received for the EAD. The timing would be there if I am correct.

Are you outside normal processing times? If not, calling won’t do much

Same here. My biometrics were 7/20 and says actively reviewed, and we do not need nothing at this time. That is what it says. Honestly, it is frustrating, all of us need to start working, and we simply can't do it until the EAD is approved. I hope they approve your case soon, too. God bless

It does, you have to scroll down, where it shows i-485, there is an arrow down that includes, case history, documents. Under documents there is pdf named appointment schedule. Open it. Thats a copy of the bio schedule. Hope it helps.

AD1 reacted to Loren Y in Passport photo validity
You should be ok, most countries, including the US for passports and forms want photos taken within 6 months of the application or petition. you should be fine. I have never seen this strictly enforced personally, maybe others have, as long as they are current, and not over a year old, you should be fine. I carry passport photos with me everywhere I travel ( Never know when you might need them for a visa at the last min. or something), and even a year old I haven't had issues using them.

I think photos within 6 months is fine...unless your appearance has significantly changed.

You'll want the certificate unfortunately. It is certified by the state, thats the legal document. Took ours about 9 days to get in the mail from NYC.

$1225 check is fine or paying by card whatever you prefer (I think you need the credit card/debit card authorization form for that if you pay by card)
We also included wedding photos for proof for the I-485, guess a few not a lot actually.

Save those for the interview. They aren't scrutinizing the relationship like they do at the application level of the K1.

Yes it is enough for the application packet, but you'll need all those bank statements etc during the interview if you have one!

AD1 reacted to RUJEN in Getting married then applying for Green card
Hopefully this will help, my Fiance come here in April, just this week we applied for her SS card ( before our wedding next week ). Once her card comes in and after we are married, we will go and change her name on the card..... All the lady at the SS office looked at was her passport, the SS-5 form, and her CBP entry stamp in the passport. the process took about 15 minutes total.......
