Vonvon reacted to SalishSea in Dating And Finding That Real Relationship
Why not look locally? Really boggles the mind how many people seem to actively search for foreign spouses, even with as expensive and fraught with delays and huge wait times immigration is.....

I met my husband through work when I was visiting my US based client for our yearly business review. Very cliche but it happened when I least expected it, I was not looking for a husband 😅. He worked at the company that I was visiting, so that was a very interesting situation for a while!

@Gauchoswas not an option sadly. I would prefer to do in person as time matters but hey it is what it is. Hopefully I’ll get it in May. Thanks again for the input.

Vonvon got a reaction from NandV in K1 processing service centre
Is it true that K1 visas are not being processed in Texas (even tho that's where they are being sent), but California? Does it mean it will be transferred at some point?
Looking at the processing times Texas does not show any 129F, and California is between 5.5-7.5 months. Our receipt shows WAC which means it will be processed in Cali, but case has been in Texas since we submitted it 2 months ago.
Thanks,

Vonvon got a reaction from strwbrysky in how much evidence is enough - we met during pandemic
Hi,
Me and my fiance met last year during the pandemic - I'm in London he's in US. We met once so far (November) as british citizens are not allowed to travel to US. During his first visit he had to quarantine for 14 days so we only managed to take few photos at home (roughly 5). We can provide chat history, face time logs. He's visiting again in February and we are planning to gather more evidence. Will what we have be enough to submit the application and continue collecting evidence if necessary to provide later on? Thanks

You need to provide evidence of meeting ONCE within previous two years, evidence of a relationship is not required. Chats, emails, FaceTime and photos don't get it done. Boarding passes, passport entry stamps, etc.. is what they want to see
