Awesome, thank you!

I sent off my documents for ROC end of September and my credit card was charged on October 16th. I've yet to hear anything from USCIS about it and get a case number. Is it normal to wait this long without a notification or?
Thanks

I had no issues flying from the UK and saying I was visiting my girlfriend (now wife), I had return flights booked which is all they ever checked.
I visited frequently as well:
- September 2019 - 2 weeks
- November 2019 - 1 week
- January 2020 - 2 weeks
- February 2020 - 1 week
Then covid happened.

Well there you go, a celebrity has an opinion, which counts no more and no less than anyone else's.
Exactly, I’m simply sharing an opinion that I believe, and others are allowed to disagree with.

Who gets to be the arbiter of what is and isn't a "legitimate reason"?
Definitely not an open online forum.

Make them harder to access and you can prevent a bad person getting a gun.

For instance, when he claims there is one, and only one, reason for having a gun. "I like guns." That is meant to be funny, but it isn't intelligent, knowledgeable, or correct.
Again, just because he's funny, doesn't mean he actually knows anything.
What is a legitimate reason to own a gun?

Hi my son entered the US and left right after to finish his last year of school. Fee was paid one day after initial entry. We waited 221 days for the card to arrive. I made a service request and some day the card was in production.
How did you make a service request?

from your other post u have moved and not yet notified USCIS green card could have gone to wrong address and they do not forward it
look up form AR 11 , fill it out and send it in with a letter asking about the green card
My wife’s parents still live at that address but hasn’t yet been received.

My CR1 was approved at the beginning of November 2021 and I entered the US later that month (paid the fees) for a week before returning to the UK to complete my work contract. I then entered the US permanently at the beginning of April and now it's May and almost 6 months later I am still waiting for the physical green card to arrive? Is it normal to take this long?
Thanks

Hi all,
How do I notify USCIS of a change of my address? Initially was down for Washington D.C but have since moved to Honolulu due to my wife's work.
Thanks

Entered the US on 20th November 2021 on a CR1, I ticked the box to receive a SSN on the DS-260. I am back in the UK at the moment finishing off work commitments before returning to the US permanently, however my SSN still hasn't arrived at the address I put down.
What are the current timeframes like on waiting for a SSN? Is 2 months normal these days?

Hi guys, jumping on on this. I received my visa back in November and this post reminded me to pay my immigration fee, when I try and enter my case ID and Alien Registration Number it comes up saying they could not find my a match.
Any ways to sort this out?
Ignore this comment, fixed the issue.

Collinson Testing at Heathrow at Heathrow are pretty good, used a few times and results usually come in around 15/20 minutes.

I parked at Westfield shopping centre in Shepards Bush, I think from 7.30am to 4pm it cost me like £8.50 so very cheap.
Took about 30-40 minutes on the tube then to get to the embassy, not the closest but very cheap.

Congratulations!
If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose to marry online as opposed to in the U.K?
Were weddings not permitted at that time?
To marry in the UK as a foreigner you have to apply for a specific visa, so it was just easier this way.

I had my CR-1 approved yesterday at the London Embassy.
My wife and I were married on November 3rd 2020, we were both present together in the UK however married online through Virginia state. We applied for a marriage license and had a pastor who was registered in the state of Virginia perform the wedding. Application sent December 5th 2020 and then approved November 4th 2021 so 11 months all together.
Granted myself and my wife were present together when married it was still online, so hopefully encouraging news for those who have done it through Utah (which seems popular) and have consummated the marriage.

Interview yesterday morning and approved 🎉

Bit of a random question, but I am just wondering when you go for an interview do they ask you for the photos you are required to bring or just take new ones of you there?
For the medical it asks to bring 4 passport photos, however on the day they didn't ask for them and just took a picture of me on the day.
Reason I ask is I am meant to do Movember and grow a moustache for charity, but my wife doesn't want me to have a moustache on my greencard picture if they take it on the day 😂.

Afternoon all, I have my interview next week and just trying to gather all my documents.
Do we need to take a copy of the affidavit of support along with tax returns/W2's. It says on the Travel.State.Gov website You do not need to bring your Affidavit of Support or financial evidence you submitted to NVC, however reading a few posts on here people have said to take them?

Reschedule Biometrics
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
So following on from my post earlier in the week about receiving notification from USCIS, it came through today and have biometrics scheduled for November 7th.
The issue is I am due to head off to Australia next week as I have a conference over next weekend.
My question is does have anyone have experience with rescheduling a biometrics appointment? And if I was to do so is it hard to get a new appointment within a close timeframe?
