Had interview today at US Embassy in Kigali, interview was easy and visa was APPROVED!
Will pick up passport with visa on Friday, Sept 23!

I got approved today August 15 2022 so happy 

Well April filers, my fiance, has an appointment to pick up her visa this Friday, and a flight to the USA on Monday. The confirmation started with an IV, meaning it is electronic; so there will be no sealed packet, as all information is on file electronically.  As confident as I am that all is good until she is actually on the plane to Omaha I am still holding my breath.  There is no reason to think she will have any issues at customs in Atlanta, but you here horror stories!!
Hoping all goes well, after almost 16 months were almost there!!!!!!
 

The email address on the NOA2 letter I received is nvcinquiry@state.gov . It says you should allow 30 days for processing before emailing to check in. Hope this helps! 

Visa Approved! Lima, Peru They asked me these questions: 1. What is your fiancé's name? 2. When was he born? 3. Where was he born? 4. When we met and how? 5. When was the last time we saw each other? 6. What is his job? That’s all Timeline: Noa1: June 21, 2021 Noa2: May 10, 2022 In transit: June 7, 2022 Medical: June 16, 2022 Interview: July 1, 2022

Guess who finally got approved!!! Thanks so much for going through this stage with me everyone. It truly does take a village to deal with USCIS. 
 
NOA1: April 19
NOA2: June 29

Finally got approved today after 434 days (no RFE)! Honestly, we are happy, but more in exhausted shock than anything else. I’m tentatively happy for us (we know there are still a few more hurdles to go and this long separation has been mentally hard and will take some time to recover from). I will keep running the chart and hoping to see everyone else moving past this stage as well! 

It mostly said they are now sending the application to our embassy and gave us our case number. 
 
it said this word for word:
“Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition.
 
Next steps:
Go to our website http://nvc.state.gov/k1 to learn how to apply for a K visa and prepare for the visa interview.”
 
these were the only steps provided! 

I got an email this morning from NVC that our application is on its way to Chile (NOA2 date - 5/26/22). We got our new case number as well. I hope all of yours are coming soon! 

That email doesn’t do anything. You’ll just get an auto reply directing you to submit your inquiry in the NVC public inquiry page, which is currently taking 2 months to get a response if you use.

long wait, so depressing but at least I have some peace now. 

Hi all - I just checked and was approved today! Immediate tears of joy! Our number is in the 78500 group for reference.

We got our K1 approved today, thank God. We waited 413 days, April 26, 2021 filer. We are still in shock. My heart has still not stopped beating rapidly for the past 2 hours lol. Thank you for the daily updates on here @Xiaova and the daily updates in the April spreadsheet @CJPinEcuador . We hope and pray for the best for everyone. May we all be reunited with our loved ones soon 💫
 

I just schedule my interview for Juliy 1st, I'm so excited! Hope you get yours guys!
