I had the misfortune of listening to Clay Travis/Buck Sexton yammering (on Presidents' Day) about who their choices for best & worst were. They took a few calls, but, as usual, cut off the callers in order to expostulate further. (Rush never did that.) The only ratings of presidents that has ever made sense to me is in this magnificent book: https://www.amazon.com/Rating-Americas-Presidents-America-First-Overrated/dp/1642935352 I finally ordered it, last year, and could barely put it down. My second reading was a similar experience. I wrote to the author with questions. Among other answers, he said that he stands by all of his ratings except for Trump (and he didn't elaborate, but the book did go to press right at the beginning of the Branch Covidian debacle). The author also writes for PJMedia and has periodically alluded to Bidementia as just about the worst president ever. Given the losers whom we've had as presidents, that's strong stuff. Bidementia is certainly the most impaired since post-stroke Wilson and FDR in fourth term.

People and countries pay attention to strength.
