RM1996 got a reaction from AMH in Living abroad - change of address
Hi! It actually got changed to my current address although some documentation got sent to my old. Once document of my NOA2 approval but another one was also sent to my new address. I have since had a few from USCIS to my new one.

i did speak to Emma a few times but they couldn’t change my address. I did submit 2 documents and sent them from Australia - I can’t remember what ones but you can find them on the internet.
  2. Thanks

You will be cutting the main ties people use to show they’re return, to spend extended time with a usc spouse. You might get lucky but I’d think you have a high chance of being denied entry if you do that. Nothing else you mention is a real tie to go back - many people have abandoned their return legs of tickets before, you’re planning on leaving other family members behind when you get your spouse visa anyway, etc.

    and USCIS says
do not sell property ,  buy  tickets or quit job till u have the visa in hand

when a CSB sees online you have applied for the CR1,  u would probably be turned away at POE (VJ member from just wrote about this on other post as she was turned away and the ESTA lost)
  4. Thanks

This is how CBP will view your admission - coming on a non-immigrant visa to live in the US with your spouse while your CR-1 is in process.   You will quitting your job and your lease.  People don't do that when they go on vacation.  Looks more like someone leaving Australia and immigrating to the US.

It sure looks like you’re planning to stay and adjust on that B visa.   People visiting the US don’t quit jobs or sell cars.   Risky, IMHO.

RM1996 got a reaction from Mike E in CR1 Visa evidence
    Hi,

My partner and i are getting married on the 1st of February and we are complying everything in order for our visa. This is currently the type of evidence we have and we were wondering if this would suffice?

    ·     Marriage certificate (1st of feb)
    ·     Joint debit bank account
    ·     12 month rental lease
    ·     Joint car insurance w/ petitioners car - listed driver on beneficiaries car (as it's under finance can't be joint insurance).
    ·     Airbnb receipts (with both names).
    ·     Boarding passes / passport stamps.
.     20 pictures including family, friends and wedding
.     x1 Screenshot picture with the petitioners family & friends.
.     8 screen shot text messages from family members referring to each other.
    ·     x2 Affidavits of support from beneficiaries uncle and sister (if needed)

Will it matter we don't have much photo evidence with my partners family?
We have screen shots of the petitioners mother thanking me (the beneficiary) and me talking to my partners sister on instagram.  I work as a nurse and struggle to find time to FaceTime them as i'm always at work or night shift, considering the time difference it makes it insanely difficult. We are unable to get joint health insurance as my partner is on a student visa and has to have her own type of insurance here in Australia.
Should i considering putting her on my credit card as an authorised user

or will this evidence be enough to prove our marriage?

    Thanks for your help!

I was wondering the samething earlier today, if it would have been a problem or I would be scrutinized  base on the fact that I did not take my husbands last name when getting married!

Ah yes i was looking at these early.. I personally would prefer to do a CR1 but considering the length of the process is a little more than the K1 it doesn't quite fit into my partners and mine timeline unfortunately.. if we didn't have to rush to get married an scramble money together for a ring and weddings with all the proof that is apart of it i'd totally be down! Thanks so much for the info, so helpful that people are spreading the word about CR1!
