  1. I wouldnt worry about it, Sounds like you both moved on with your lives befor the divorce was final. It is quite common. I thingk you should let the smoke settle here for a while. Things happening to fast here. Could raise questions
  2. So it was you who stepped out of the marriage or were you both seeing other people?
  3. is the baby his or your boyfriend?
  4. Yes. If you want advice you need to tell us your story from the beginning. How you got here, visa type. How long you had your greencard, how long you married. Did you file removal of conditions. Tell everything. trickle truth only wastes time.
  5. Nothing but a president does not try to overturn laws like that. Groups do that. and it takes years
  6. Gay marriage is protected under the Supreme Court decision "Obergefell v. Hodges" which ruled that the right to marry applies to same-sex couples, guaranteeing them the fundamental right to marriage under the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution.
  7. or get some english classes going. My mom in law speaks little english but learned enough to pass the tests.
  8. Maybe get her citizenship. My mother came here at 65 too and never worked and is covered under medicare and medicade here in Mass. Costs her nothing. Get an N400 going pronto, make her a citizen.
  9. Maybe he will finish the wall, Keep the asylum seekers in Mexico like last time. I dont think the gates will be open to welcome just anyone. We did all our Immigration under him the last time. Went pretty smoothly and was a lot faster and cheaper than it is now. He did want to raise rates but was shot down. Biden ownes the rate change. He did come up with new questions for civics test but that was shot down also. I think the biggest change will be the southern boarder but who knows at this point.
  10. Capital one gave my wife one, try them.
  11. Make sure she mentions her address change at interview and see if it went through yet so officer can update it if hasnt been changed in their system. You are almost done with them, Congrats!
  12. We used Binders. Officer took the Binder reviewed the contents and took copies of the documents he wanted. If you do the Binder make sure there is a copy of each document. Officer thanked me for being so organized and making it easy. Having a binder made it easy for me to review and see that I had everything I needed.
  13. OVERTHINKING!!!! Just have them sign and return it. they dont use handwriting experts to analize.
  14. I did it all. Put her on life ins policies, utility bills, holiday greeting cards addressed to both of us. Ids and licenses with same address, pictures of us on vacation and with each other's families. Use your imagination. Like I said it's a game, play it. Once you are done with them you can go back to your old ways. For the record a little on our background. Wife was a 24 year overstay and they had us set up for a stokes interview. Once the officer seen how prepared we were he thanked me for making this easy for him and my wife and him came out laughing and joking. Card produced 3 hours later. Play the game and give them what they want. Put some effort into it and take it seriously. 4 years almost to the day to citizenship.
  15. My Wife has her bank accounts and I have mine. We did do a joint checking account to pay house bills. She deposits her share and I deposit mine. We pay the bills and there we have it. That was good enough for USCIS. Sometimes you just have to play the game and give them what they want till you dont have to answer to them anymore. Makes life easier.
  16. What is your home country? Can make a difference with their attitude.
  17. Thats what we did too. Had Utube streaming through car speakers and did the practice tests they have on there. Helped her a lot. Did it on way to work and ride home. 40 mins or so each way and I drove. Worked great.
  18. Sounds like there is some info that they just dont want to share. If your X did send something they probably wont show you because they dont want to risk any harm to her. Is there something your worried about? Seems like it. It is not a standard letter. most of the time they just send the info.
  19. I did a walk in at JFK, Was easy and no wait, I did a walk in at JFK, Was easy and no wait,
  20. Get it, Makes coming home a breeze. No long lines to stand in. I go to the PI twice a year. You get Precheck too.
  21. I think as long as you explain your situation in Part 14 I think you will be OK. You were'nt homeless and didnt have a physical address but not in a shelter. None of the given situations apply so where your mail went with an explanation that you were on a vacation should be ok. Not like your hiding anything. Good Luck
  22. I Just checked the form, Physical Address is asked for. (Been a while since I seen form). You could just put "Traveling in Motor Home" and give the specifics in Part 14 Additional Information. He could also use the mailing address and also provide the Specifics in Part 14 Additional information. I would put the mailing address if it was a friends or family and just explain away if this was my circumstances.
  23. What was your mailing address during Your time as a Nomad?
  24. It is pretty clear that Iran does not like Americans. It is also possible that they would not think to highly of you for being with one. Do both of yourselves a favor and meet, hang out or whatever in some other country.
  25. That would be up to your job. As far as customs is concerned their is no difference between leave and vacation.
