Hi guys, I had my interview on Oct 5 and just now my status changed to Issued! Just wanna share the good news

it will change when you receive an email from the NVC regarding your interview date. that is still normal

a bit ago my status changed to Issued... so the steps seems to be Ready → Administrative Processing → Issued.

it is different for everyone. in my case it took 1 year 3 months till my interview at the embassy. are you about to start your application?

Congratulations!! I got approved too and on the same day after my interview my status changed from Ready to Administrative Processing, hopefully it will change to Issued soon. Did yours change to Issued already? 

oh great news,  interview didn't take that long....
 
yeah you are right i was thinking that too to call them if i still dont her anything but hopefully they will set an interview for me as soon as possible

Thats normal. Just keep checking the CEAC website. Once the NVC arrange the interview date with the US embassy, you will get another email from the NVC and it might take couple or few days till the status on the site change.

yeah, finally!! the questions that they asked were mostly about my relationship with my husband, nothing about public charge or financial documents. it wasn't that long.
 
hopefully you will hear something soon. wait like 3 or 4 weeks and maybe you can try to call the NVC or the embassy

ah ok...yes i requested my interview to be in tokyo as it is near where i live now

as what @designguy said, it was written that it is not needed for the former resident. but if you still unsure, you can try to email or call the US embassy where your husband reside. i had same situation (different countries) before, and the US embassy where i reside said that i don't need it, so i follow their instruction

mine too.... it seems that the embassy didn't ask for that. but if you have that filled out, you can bring it just in case they ask. good luck

yeahh... i just got an email today from the embassy about what documents to bring for the interview and nothing was mention about the DS-5540. but when we prepared documents for the NVC stage we actually already filled it out, so i was just gonna bring it whether they will ask or not. two weeks will go by fast, good luck for his interview

it will be better if you can have a joint account, but as you said, it will be hard to do if you dont have SSN.
in my case, we didn't have any joint account, since we live separately after we get married. the other way to show that you have the evidence is through your pictures between you and your spouse, family and friends. you can also include the receipts of the gifts that you bought for your spouse and vice versa, and the E-ticket from your trips together or when you visit her or her visit you, that will also helps.

Oh I can definitely understand being nervous you forgot a step, especially if someone mentions something you don't know about! I did hear that some embassies operate differently in terms of how they process the Visas but I didn't even realize they don't all require registering the appointment online.

ahh, i see.... yeah, i didnt find that type of instruction in the US embassy here. but when i read your first post it just make me a bit nervous if i did miss some step after we got the interview date, because i got closer to the interview day.
