  1. Look at me. I applied for K1, i am US shitizen( i will call myself like this because i have no rights whatsoever).
I have 2 US citizen children, did Consular paperwork for them to get Us citizenship, so my K1 mother of 2 US citizens and embassy backed me off million times already, i tried sending them multiple emails etc, nothing worked. The fact that there are citizens,  minor children outside of US does not mean anything.

They issue in Manila now even tourist visas B1/B2 remotely( and student visas also to foreign filipino) - you dont need to go to embassy, just send documents in and they send you back your foreign filipino passport with a visa back.

The whole story short, after this garbage it is all clear for me what this country is like, i am not on government benefits, i work and make my own money, i paid taxes 40k last year, i care about myself, and this what government do to me US shitizen. I decided not to deal with this nonsense no more, now making docs for Europe, and leaving this crappy country and renouncing US shitizenship, like that.

Btw, my European  documents are done already and it took me 6 weeks to get EU passports for both of my kids, NOT a crappy VISA, EU CITIZEN PASSPORTS.
So how about that? They can shove in their US passport, i dont need that anymore.

I repeat, Philippines is not subject to the following proclamations: Schengen Area; UK and Ireland; Brazil; mainland China; and Iran. Manila has been doing expedite/emergency cases but the recent DOS update is a good sign for routine K-1 cases:

Any proclamation that coming out is for the whole world, you can not treat US citizens differently form country to country, what applies to US citizen in Brazil applies to US citizen in China or Africa, other story if you want to go ahead and sue them. Contact your lawyer for further information if you want to be sure.

its not about safety, its about money, they pushed it towards price change at  october 2, thats all. All this covid is garbage story, just to cool down the  economy.

The destruction of reason has seen the triumph of ignorance.

You read your post yourself, I was first saying that embassy died from covid, than you repeated it saying it would be an idiot if think like that. While i am getting warnings from those socal moderators just for using vocabulary, some are free to call names without any problems

Note that Babaloo is under the wrong impression that Manila is subject to a travel ban:

Babaloo's case is through Manila, so not affected by travel bans.

I mentioned that before, people debating etc. I am at travel ban, can not get interviews, been fighting last 4 months, every 2 weeks back and forth emails to embassy, they hardly reply, bad experience. Thats all i can say, this passport has no worth, just a meat for this country.

And i noted before as well, they are raising prices 2 october, so they hold back all cases as much as possible, now they claim they start moving with cases, right, reason is we close to october 2, so goal is achieved an they get more money.

Covid is fake garbage, time to get out of this country.

I'm part of a Messenger group of with 6 other K1's all belonging to the embassy in Stockholm, and one of us got her visa issued in July (I think it was) because she and her fiancé have a son together. So when they started working enough for the baby to get his American passport issued she got her visa as well. This was way before the statement by DOS obviously.

I have 2 kids citizens  of my K1, her child from previous love aged out over 21, all my requests were  turned away ( k2 going over 21 soon) and blamed on covid, no visas in my case.

Email (immigrant visa inquiries only)Public Inquiry Form
(Note:  the NVC is unable to respond to nonimmigrant visa inquiries by email or fax. Please see our Contact Us page for contact information). We ask that you make a subsequent inquiry only if you do not receive a response to your email within our published timeframe. Duplicate inquiries slow our ability to respond to you in a timely manner.

Phone (for immigrant visa inquiries only): (603) 334-0700

Customer Service Representatives are available from 7:00 AM to 12:00 midnight Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Due to high call volumes, wait times may exceed 30 minutes. Many of your questions can be answered in the FAQ’s section of this website. You can see the current status of your case or make updates by logging into the Consular Electronic Application Center at https://ceac.state.gov.

So you calling me idiot? Right? and than you banning me if i mention someones post not informative?

The DOS update about K-1 being high priority can't override the President's proclamations (Schengen Area; UK and Ireland; Brazil; mainland China; and Iran).

Maybe that K-1 applicant meets an exemption. For example, the K-1 could be parent of US citizen child.

From the month of April to July, the following K-1 visas were issued in the Schengen Area:

    • 1 K-1 visa in Athens
    • 1 K-1 visa in Bern
    • 1 K-1 visa in Bratislava
    • 1 K-1 visa in Frankfurt
    • 2 K-1 visas in Madrid
    • 1 K-1 visa in Naples
    • 2 K-1 visas in Paris
    • 1 K-1 visa in Prague
    • 1 K-1 visa in Riga
    • 4 K-1 visas in Stockholm
    • 1 K-1 visa in Tallinn
    • 2 K-1 visas in Vienna
    • 1 K-1 visa in Warsaw

Where you got this info, on K1 as parent of US citizen child is exemption? All moderators here claim it is not exemption.

I've attempted to call the NVC literally 62 times tonight. No answer so I have no idea what my case number is and how I'm going to find it out.  I am disgusted and defeated.

Probably to late they all dead from the virus there, its pandemic time.

If seriously, i called not to NVC but to US embassy starting from May 2020 till June 20 2020 every day, 3 times per day and not a single time reached them. As a rule after 8 minutes 30 seconds staying on, all i heard goodbye and line cuts off.

Called lots of times in July no success either.

Have no words to express only emotions.

    Hello,

I have one question. My fiance filling form for me, for K1 visa.

I have been denied for J1 student visa before our relationship. We are 4 years in the relationship.

Is it problem? Do I have a red flag in embassy?

    Thanks a lot.

J1 is a visa. K1 is also a visa, but it is  2 different TYPEs.

There is many visas of different type, there are rules and regulations you must follow when you apply for certain type of visa.
In general after denial of any type of visa you need wait 1 to 2 years( as they classify it as sufficient time limit for personal circumstances to change (improve)).

Don't worry you don't have any red flag, only terrorists and people on the watch list  have red flags.

Look at your history with US embassy, they know about you only what you tell them.

Anyone can apply for a US visa at embassy so what? It does not give you any privilege but be careful,  don't show them constant pattern of to many attempts.

What do you mean?  There is absolutely nothing requiring embassies to resume or perform visa interviews at the moment.  They all have discretion to open (or not) for regular business based on several parameters, including local COVID status.

Having a USC child confers no actual status or benefit.

Here we go, your answer clearly describes mainstream US policy , which is - we don't  care  about US citizens.

Embassy is  there  to assist citizens and serve them no matter what under all circumstances, find ways, solutions etc. In nowadays they just shut the doors.

At least those useless people could answer the phones when citizens call there to find clarifications to situations they got, they don't even do that. You need wait 1 month just to get email reply, lmao. Embarrassment is just a word from the books for them.

And there is nothing to defend here anymore, so it is time to spit on that passport and throw it in their face and leave.

Embassy's dysfunctional attitude, will lead to separated families for many years to come at least that is in  my case, and reverse engineering does not work, they modified straight away so many procedures due to covid19  but still rely on main immigration laws and pointing fingers to everyones face what is right what is wrong, pathetic.

You can read  proclamation from the white house everything is said there regarding US citizen children and much more.

I highly doubt that. I wouldn't be surprised if the Manila area moves to a more restrictive quarantine on September 1st.  So far this has been the pattern lately.

We will have to wait for President Duterte to issue his order.  With COVID still spiking there despite 6 months of quarantine and lockdowns and house arrest for anyone under age 21 and over age 60, I don't see the Embassy in Manila opening any time soon to routine interviews.

The situation here is, US embassy can operate at least for US citizens, K1 etc, DU30 can do his business, US embassy can do theirs, add extra 100$ for covid19 testing during medical in stluke,14 day quarantine before entering embassy, 14 quarantine on arrival to US and problem solved, in the mean time they act like it is pandemic in the world and half of the world population is dead which is not the case. Its pure politics nothing else.

    Hi All,

I have been waiting to get my K1 visa, so I can travel to the USA and marry my fiancé. I have a dependent child who is aging out as she is reaching her 21st birthday very soon. Us consulate is not doing any regular visa processing due to lockdown in India. I have already informed US Consulate about my situation but they provided me below reply.

“Please write to us with this case-specific question after the consulate has resumed regular visa services. The consulate is unable to reply substantively about case-specific questions at this time.

My daughter will age out soon and lose her eligibility to travel to the US with me.

Any guidance is appreciated in this matter.

That is exactly what happened with my case, K2 child aged out and now will not attend the interview.

US embassy was like a wall, could not get through to them, and when i got replies, it was same type bs as you got all the time, until 21 was reached.

They dont give a (removed)about anything. What a bunch of animals thats the only way i can describe them. Careless people, and i paid for everything, and i am paying for everything.

We need to understand immigration is a business, and looks like whatever emotions we have regarding our families we must to throw them out of our lives and obey this nonsense that they impose on all of the people.

They fail to provide service for US citizens.

Aside from taking emergency interviews, you're saying the US Embassy in Manial is open for business nd that you can schedule your interview appointment online? that would be big news to me and a lot of other people.  I heard from my Fiance they were set to re-open the Embassy first week of September.

Russia failed to complete Phase 3 trials for Ebola as well? What should trouble everyone is that this is a RUSHED vaccine, and once you inject it into your body there is NO going back..  This is not a USA vs Russia thing with me, I've been to Russia 4 times, it's a country very rich in culture and the people were very kind and approachable, I just don't trust the Government, they have a long history of being #1 on everything, from putting a man on the moon to winning the most Winter Olympic medals.. Filipinos and everyone else would wise to wait until all 3 phases of clinical trials have been completed.

    Interesting read;

    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/11/health/russia-covid-19-vaccine-safety.html

US embassy is closed for routine visa services, as they say, but they are open and accept those who they think deserve to get interview - so it says by itself , double standard and politics. It was closed april, may, no visas were issued, but since june they operating.

Regarding Russias vaccine  don't follow media (removed) you getting fooled on daily basis non stop for decades.

They have vaccine and production is in full force as well as vaccination of population started and their target to complete vaccination of the whole population by December. The vaccine is available.

My one cent on this. I wait till October 2 when they jack up all fees, i don't see any other reason. If not, and all will be closed, than this country is doomed probably (GDP subtracted more than 30% already) and i am highly likely out of here. They loosing trade war to China probably ( all Walmart's around US are more or less quarter  empty) or something is going on here, when was that in the world US closed all immigration into the country? Answer: during great depression. All about money and for money, this time there is some fancy virus story(40% of tested went through covid19 without any symptoms  and have antibodies), more than 80% or the rest 60% get back to normal, and because of tiny 3%with bad outcome they shut down the whole world like that? Something not right.

You have rising Covid19 case in Manila and the US Embassy will not open until the case numbers come down, as they have in other parts of the country.. Either the Embassy re-opens under controlled conditions or they wait until a vaccine comes out, Which brings us to the scary part, Duarte's willingness to use a vaccine from China, Russia or both, he already came out in support of it, using Filipinos as Guinea pigs on a vaccine that has NOT been thoroughly tested, hard to believe.

This is not correct. Russians created vaccine against Ebola virus with the same approach, that approach been in the making(and improving with time)  by the way around last  30 years. Putins daughter got this vaccine already, so don’t  worry about it, Sputnik V will be effective against Covid19. The other question will Duterte get it or not because he requested vaccines  as credit (means for free) as always(some time ago Duterte visited Russia and requested as credit top level Russian weapons), if this what US embassy is waiting for, they can shut the while unit down because it will take a decade minimum to solve pinoy style ( army sent with automatic guns to protect citizens from covid19, i guess they must shoot at flying viruses but they can not see it, so they just drive around Manila 1 mph and shout to stay everyone home because bullets can fly around).

Thats what you said, but TRUMP proclamation says, if US citizen child has alien mother this proclamation gives green light to alien mother come to US, thus my K1 must be admitted for interview same as CR1, now you understand?
