Dear Applicant:
Thank you for writing to the US Visa Service Desk.
We understand that you would like to request for an interview appointment of the applicant.
Please note that as of March 16, 2020, the United States Embassy in the Philippines ceased all non-immigrant and immigrant visa appointments and processing due to the Philippine’s enhanced community quarantine measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time. This is again the same reply i got from US embassy in Manila.
It does not matter what i do it is always the same.
I got US citizen child there( consular birth abroad), her own child got over 21 and can not come to US as k2 anymore, regardless i contacted embassy also of this aging out situation and response was the same, due to quarantine no visa processing available.
Statistics on travel.state.gov month of March 2020 has lots of k1 issued, than 16 march all closed, april/may 2 visas each month, but june 60 visas k1, july not there yet.
I been in contact with embassy 2wice a month and always same replies, they just turning me away. Phones don't answer, email replies with huge delays(2-3 weeks) and still saying no visa processing, online appointments not available to book.
Question is how people are getting interviews with K1 during this pandemic?
My case i think is brutally neglected, K2 aged out, k1 is alien mother of US citizen child stranded abroad(how about Trumps proclamations) and i was in communication with embassy all the time.
I am not trying to say i am special and have to go over everybody's head, but interview was 2 weeks due before all was closed and those proclamations and regulations guided me in direction ( or i was misled) that i can expedite but nothing happened, reply the same - wait for routine visa appointments gets resumed.
What grounds people have when they getting interviews as k1 during this pandemic??? And where to complain regarding embassy attitude? I feel i am piece of s.....t not a US citizen.

Many will chime in with a response but as of now, no however it appears some K1s have been able to get emergency interviews if their Medicals were about to expire.
That what i can not accept. Medical examination must be done once appointment is scheduled, if appointment is cancelled, than medical report has no value and must be redone once appointment system back on. Medical expiration is not an excuse to get appointment.
Below is small quote i got from embassy reply this week:
What is the status of my K fiancé(e) visa? At this time, the Embassy is not processing K Fiancé(e) visa applications. We are unable to provide a specific date for when the Embassy will resume processing of K fiancé visas. If your fiancé(e) petition is expired, a revalidation determination will be made at the time your interview is scheduled, after routine visa services have resumed. There is no need to contact our office now about the rescheduling of your interview, expiration of petition, or medical exam. Please schedule an appointment at https://ustraveldocs.com/ once visa processing resumes.
So how in the world people get interviews for K1 visa? US embassy is terrible, not following regulations and they do whatever they think they want to do, thats why it is a mess right now.

We completed my fisnce DS 160 here in America. The instruction clearly says that only the fiance/ Applicant is allowed to sign and submit personally. Unfortunately she can not get thru the system and always refreshes and goes to application error like there is a problem on the Philippines website. Any similar issues?
Why you gamble with your destiny? You know it is FORBIDDEN, you can read rules regarding DS160 on embassy website.
Want to learn things hard way? Ok, well up to you.

Finally some action out of the USEM on our K1 visa. They have requested she take a new physical at St, Luke's Extension Hospital. Need to know is St. Luke's open. Maybe just maybe things are starting to move. Praise the Lord.
Can you add few details please?
Why your case is being looked at? What the reason? Embassy does NOT processing K1 visas. -

I just received my annulment decree. I married a friend last year to help get her documents but I felt she didn't appreciate me and use to disrespect me so I decided to annul the marriage and bring my fiancee through K1 visa. Will the annulment affect my K1 application?
Get a lawyer before you file K1,
Does not matter your annulment at all, forget about it. You need proper representation of your future case.
DO NOT mention anymore that you was trying to help your friend get documents, this wording would get you in big problems with your next K1.Get a lawyer, you can not do that on your own for your case.

If you case is at NVC the correct email is NVCexpedite@state.gov
Put the case number in the subject line. Include attachments to support your request
NVC does not conduct any interviews

What email address did you use to request an expedited interview?
acsinfomanila@state.gov or support@ustraveldocs.com
The problem is they do not reply, or they reply whenever they think is necessary, at least for me is like that.

NOA2 s extended by embassy automatically for another 4 months, than another 4 months and so on, they must see you are serious about your interview, paid fees, communication with embassy etc.
They will get some big money, on October 2 this year new fees are going into effect, everything goes up, so they will not open until than for sure.
After October 2 they will start slowly moving on to process all cases, now mission is to delay everyone so they get more cash later, this immigration is better than oil business probably.
It is Capitalism isn't it?.?.?

What kind embassy facebook page?
https://ph.usembassy.gov is this dummy posting website you mean?
I called myself yesterday to US embassy in Manila, and the response was THEY ARE NOT PROCESSING ANY VISA INTERVIEWS ( spouses, k1, b1, does not matter, only US citizen services) NONE.
So what it is all about here? like a mad house. Travel.state.gov statistics probably for something else.
And you guys must stop to mislead people here if you consider yourself knowledgeable immigration gurus and giving false advices on this page to people who seek information during this time.Or provide complete detailed info regarding your case why your documents were processed, (thus people can distinct reasoning) during this pandemic times or dont post nonsense.

Closed for ROUTINE visa services. Important distinction.
As you may be aware, on March 16, 2020, the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines ceased all immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments and processing due to the Philippine’s enhanced community quarantine measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.The Embassy cancelled all immigrant and nonimmigrant visa interviews scheduled through July 31, 2020 due to the extension of the Philippine’s enhanced community quarantine. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time.Once regular processing resumes, we will process cases as expeditiously as possible. After the enhanced community quarantine is lifted in Manila, and her medical exam is complete, your fiance can reschedule a visa interview through the Embassy call center by phone at +63-2-7792-8988 and 8548-8223, or through the online appointment system at http://cdn.ustraveldocs.com/ph/.Your fiance should follow all interview preparation instructions located on the Embassy’s website at: https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/. The website identifies the required documents as well as procedures to follow prior to the interview date.
You see that the response i have got from Embassy after reading that silly misleading post regarding available interviews, so you also scammer here.May be better idea report you both to embassy.

Hi everyone! This is not a question but I think a lot may be wondering (like I was for how many months) about the embassy situation. I'd like to share my experience.
I had my interview earlier and there were mostly IR1 and CR1 there. I said mostly because one of them was an EB3 (that's what she said) and another also said it's for work. So I guess they are prioritizing spousal visas for now but exempting some.
But here's the funny thing. Most of my co-applicants have their medical expiry on January 2021 which means they just had their medical! They did not mention any redoing of medical so they might have just gotten it. I don't know how the embassy does this but I had my medical last March and just got called last June and last wk (I felt it was unfair? I only have a little over a month left!). So maybe anyone here would like to call them for that.
Anyways, that's all I can share for now. 😊 Again, this is just my experience.
seems like you are a liar. It can not be because embassy is CLOSED for visa services in Manila. Shame on you.
