Hi guys! Any news on Brasil? Have they started interviewing yet? Last we heard was when we got DQ'd in June, complete silence since then 😓

Oh wow 😞 i was hoping they would be starting again this year. I have a cousin scheduled for interview in November, so far it hasn’t been changed but i will post here when i get more news from her.

still waiting on news 😔   been DQ'd since june and havent heard from anyone since then. Not sure whats going on with Brazil. If anyone has any news i would greatly appreciate it!

Do you already have a tourist visa or are you planning on getting one? If you dont have one and are already halfway through the immigration process it might be hard to get one.

it’s for my husband who already does have a tourist visa and has come and gone correctly multiple times with it. 

With the embassies closed and with brazil only getting worse, i have no clue when interviews will start again so we started discussing if visiting would be a possibility. 

If anyone know the answer to this, it’d be great help! 

Are you allowed to enter the US using a tourist visa just for a visit while you wait for interview after you’ve already gotten your NVC approval?

I asked specifically about Brazil on that twitter thread and got the same response with the July 15th date. So i think it could apply to any country that wants to begin phased services.
