  1. OP is doing adjustment of status not consular professing. you’re probably not inputting the numbers correctly. It would be helpful to see how you’re trying to fill it out.
  2. It’s required to include the latest tax return so you can’t avoid that. My advice is to include a tax return transcript - it’s preferred anyway and you don’t need to provide W2s and other extra paperwork like you would with a full tax return. I would add his paystubs, I-864 mentions 6 months of paystubs. If he worked less than that then provide all you have.

  7. By that do you mean you were Documetarily Qualified (DQ)? If not, you have to first wait for that to happen.

  22. You’re referring to this? Oh dear, you interpreted that quite literally. @OldUser meant it is fine to put the total amount in the field. Of course you would have to put the exact amount or the payment will be rejected…
