waiver is coming reacted to Bacon235 in N-400 September 2023 Filers
May 22nd I took my oath and became officially a U.S. citizen.
what a journey it has been and I wouldn’t be able to do it without this community. I wish I can tag everyone personally who has helped me in some way but I just want to express my appreciation to everyone and if you’re still in the process. Please hang in there. Your efforts and patience will soon be rewarded!

waiver is coming got a reaction from He and I in N-400 September 2023 Filers
I finally took my oath last Friday and am done with my immigration journey now. I applied on Sept 10, had my interview on Dec 27, and took my oath on Jan 12. I started this journey back in December of 2019 when I applied for my J1 waiver. Such difficult days… wish you all good luck soon to be US citizens…

Great for you if it took 3 and half month to get the biometric appointment. Hopefully someone else can answer my question.

waiver is coming got a reaction from Chancy in EAD Expedite with job offer. Other factors/company letterhead necessary?
USCIS just approved my application too! I did not make any notes to state I would get into a difficult situation if I couldn't get the job, but instead I focused on the financial losses I would face. I hope we receive the actual cards sometime soon.

the approval of my EAD and 2 days later, my AP was approved, too. Now, since a few days, the status is "Card mailed to you" So "just" wait, it's coming!

waiver is coming got a reaction from ParulAbhay in Post: USCIS Biometrics Appointment After July 1st 2020
ASC Appointment Date: 8/28
ASC Appointment Location: Cleveland, OH
ASC appointment for : I 485 & I 765
I sent my AOS documents on June 15th and received my biometrics appointment letter in the mail yesterday. The case status still shows "Case was received" on the USCIS website.
Do you know anyone who did an early walk-in and successfully had their biometrics done? I know that it was possible pre-COVID, but now I am afraid they will want to limit the number of people at the ASC.

waiver is coming reacted to SusieQQQ in Trump Cuts Legal Immigrants by Half, and He's Not Done...
How pathetic when the level of political discourse is reduced to schoolyard epithets and populist scare mongering rather than a reasoned debate of actual positions taken by people. This is why we should be keeping politics out of these forums.

waiver is coming reacted to African Zealot in Trump Cuts Legal Immigrants by Half, and He's Not Done...
i think people are either missing the point, lost, or deliberately disingenuous. Of course there are people on here who are anti most types of immigration so it is no surprise😆 🤣😆The point is that Trump is cutting immigration drastically regardless of whichever program he is touching, ultimately it affects ALL immigration processes and almost none in a positive way. He says he is for merit based immigration, well H1 programs are heavily affected. Processing times for virtually all types of petitions and visas are negatively impacted.
So those who are saying the media is exaggerating are the ones who don't know what they are talking about. There is virtually no immigration process which has not been adversely affected under Trump, none. The media loves to cry wolf, but guess what there really is a wolf in the immigration world!

It seems as if it's not changing online currently, people are getting notifications through snail mail. Will let you know when mine updates post-appointment (if it does).

waiver is coming got a reaction from RPete in Green card freezes?
Correct me if I am wrong, but it also depends on what USCIS office is taking care of your case. One of my friends received his GC 6 months after sending his documents and never received an EAD before that.

waiver is coming reacted to Scandi in I-693 after sending the AOS package
No reason to listen to random people when you can easily search for the answer on USCIS website.
