We were granted an expedite and will be interviewing June 23 in HCMC, VN
If you don't mind sharing, what reason did you give for the expedite request?

Theres a group for this on telegram for Mumbai Consulate filers ONLY.
Hi there,
The link to join the telegram is not working.

Mexico city consulate has started rescheduling interviews. Israel is also doing that.
Hopefully rest of the embassies will open too in coming days.

I actually follow one of lawyer's page on facebook and saw his live session where he mentioned some of his clients have started receiving the new interview dates from Israel and Mexico City embassies.

I finally got to talk with NVC.
The girl told me that once you get DQ you should not upload any documents, because they aren’t going to review them.
she also told me that I should take to the interview those documents mentioned in the case documents review note.
Thank you so much for letting us know. Apprecite it.

Thank you so much.
We are missing one of my PCC and we made a note that I will bring it to the interview. And they accepted it. And got DQ.
we called NVC asking for that review note about my husbands divorces final decrees and they said that better don’t submit it that it will be better to take it to the interview. Maybe we need to call them again. 😅
haha different stories!! Please let me know what NVC says.

Hi, when we got DQ on April 21 we also received a Case Document Review Note.
3 days later I was able to open it and they were asking for my husband’s divorces final decrees. We call NVC and the operator said that we better bring it to the interview because if we submitted we will lose our place in line for the interview.
did you call them and asked them about what to do with your CDRN as you are DQ?
Just FYI,
We were missing the PCC for NVC stage and Got DQ.
We received message from NVC that the explanation for not submitting the PCC has been accepted but will need to upload under additional docs in CEAC once we get a hold of it. So, I called the NVC and the operator mentioned since we are already DQ we won't lose our spot in line for the interview.

For what it’s worth - you can be happy that at least your visa class is not suspended once embassies resume work. The executive order is a whole different problem for many (like us) and realistically they won’t let it expire but rather extend I’m afraid.
I totally understand the situation and I hope the EO does not get extended and everyone can be with their loved ones soon.

Not really feasible, unfortunately. The AOS applicants had prior interviews and visas, e.g. K1 and they also already provided biometrics and medical. In our situations it’s a bit different.
Sad reality!!

Yes - NVC schedules the interview for IV and then sends the file to the embassy. There’s nothing to schedule at the moment so it just sits there I assume 😑
Some AOS applicants here in the US have got their interviews waived off. I wish they do the same for everyone, be it IR1 or a CR1 category visa. The wait times to get the interview will increase taking into consideration the cancellations that happened from Feb onwards due to covid 19.

Has anyone's case been transferred from the NVC to the Embassy/consulate in the last couple of weeks?
I saw in some other thread that once the NVC has DQed all the docs they are still holding on to the files and are not sending anything to the embassies until they reopen.

Hi @bharath and manu @Anmol Yash
Did you to submit the civil documents without the PCC? If Yes, how do we submit that once it becomes available after the lockdown?
Hi,
Yes, we submitted the docs to NVC without the PCC.
We added in an explanation why we do not have it at the moment and once it becomes available we will bring it on the day of the interview.
I saw someone else in the group getting a DQ without submitting the PCC and adding in an explanation.

The applicant (my wife) currently cannot obtain the Police Clearance Certificate from the Passport Office in Mumbai due to the COVID national lockdown order in India. Could the DS-260 and other supporting documents be processed without it for now? She will bring the original Police Clearance Certificate with her to the interview when the consulate opens up.
Has anybody had success trying to submit without the PCC, or will the NVC simply return the application as incomplete even with the current situation?
Hello,
My husband was in the same situation as he also lives in india and was not able to get the PCC due to lockdown.
We contacted NVC and they told us to select the option of not available and add an explanation why we do not have it.
We wrote to them that we will bring it on the day of the interview or if we are able to get a hold of it early, we will add it as additional doc in the CEAC website. Check the "NVC April 2020" thread on VJ, many folks took this route.

Can you tell what basic stuff they asked you to send? I am going start gathering the documents.
For AOS there are 2 required docs:
- Tax return docs
- AOS application (there are 4 different types of I 864 that you can use depending on your case)
There is also an option for sending additional docs along with your AOS that you might want to take a look into and submit accordingly.
For IV application:
- DS 260
- Police Clearance certificate (depending on applicant;s country as some countries do not issue PCC)
- Passport Photograph of the applicant
- Birth certificate of the applicant (both original and translated (if applicable))
- Passport demographic page of the applicant (i think this was required but not sure, may be it was part of the additional docs)

Every case is different, so you may not see the date change as other folks are experiencing with their cases.

how do you check that please?
If you log in to your uscis account and see where it is written the case is received and under review, right on top of it you will see the date.
For it to change, you will have to monitor your acct on a regular basis.
Hope i answered your question.

finally submitted all documents, except PCC (with explanation) on April 26th. We filed for expedite request on April 27th and we received an email on the 28th saying they will be reviewing it. Guess now all I can do is wait and see what the Montreal consulate says.
Hi,
I did not know one can expedite at NVC as well.
What kind of reasons are enough to expedite at NVC? Can you please share.
Thank you.
