That’s so good! Congrats girl!!! May I ask how long did it take from USCIS to NVC? And did you expedite from there or Sydney embassy ? Was the interview hard :)?

i have a question , before you got the approval. Did all your status say “ we received your case” like that’s all it said untill it was approved ? 

Also in the same boat with you guys, i hope we all get approved very soon! ❤️

Noa1 December 9. I signed up for text message alerts on the uscis website and received the text this morning to check for the update. I then went to look at the case tracker app and it said “APPROVED”!! No RFE!! 157 days..

Thanks!! Yeah, i explained to the consulate hat my fiancé was deploying soon and I needed to get there before he left and they allowed me to get an emergency interview. All i did was email them to explain my situation and I included a letter from my fiancés command stating he was due to deploy. There was no form to fill out. You should email the Sydney consulate and check if they’ll process you as an emergency interview! 

Just got my K1 visa approved! The whole interview probably lasted 5 minutes. The consulate is really understaffed at the moment and it seems like there is only one person doing the actual interviews and the rest are support staff. I saw two other applicants - both applying for a spousal visa. They got approved too! 

@ECCK posted that they were issued a K1 in Sydney yesterday. It's a good sign, but they had some extenuating circumstances (US military fiance was about to deploy). We'll see for sure when the embassies open, or with clarification on the EO.

After patiently (and sometimes not so patiently) waiting, here we are, 149 days later, and we FINALLY see that our NOA 2 is Approved!!!

We discussed yesterday that we were going to stop checking-in every day to see what was happening with our case because it broke our hearts each time we didn't see any movement. I guess we just needed a shift of energy and the USCIS felt the change and I was woken up abruptly by a notification sound I hadn't heart before (the case tracker). Since I was still groggy, I went to the USCIS website and refreshed about a million times just to make sure it wasn't a dream! 😍
 
Now we just need this virus to pass so we can get on with our happily ever after! 👩‍❤️‍👨#StayHomeSoWeCanGetMarried

I’m still waiting for our NOA2 as well, we put ours in 23rd December . Fingers crossed we start getting more approvals . Today marks 4’ months and 1 day! So we’re in the same boat lovely! Just gotta keep positive!

We submitted our application on Nov 29th and received our NOA1 on Dec 2nd.

It's nice too see that some approvals are coming in. While I'm sure things will slow down a bit due to the current situation in the world, I'm still looking towards hearing something soon.  Even if it means the medical testing and embassy appointments and such have to be put on hold, at least (hopefully) we'll know we're approved and that shimmer of hope makes me happy.  

I honestly can’t wait either !! We deffs need some excitement and happiness!!! Hopefully the virus gets under control soon so we can all travel to our partners once approved and interviews 😇🙌🙌

So December Filers, I the last of 2019!! You a'll ready for the next 2 weeks ?  I see approvals from last week of march.. Can't wait for this group to come alive again with hope and excitement
