That 60 days begins when they receive your response.

So to get your story straight, your fiance lied on a visa application by putting another person's name on the application instead of yours, to increase his chances to get a tourist visit to enter the US to see you, his true fiancee?  And, he signed the visa application stating that all statements on it were true, "under penalty of perjury?"  If that's the case, it may be a problem of misrepresentation that could slow down or even prevent his visa from being approved.  If asked about this, he needs to come clean and admit that he lied.  And be prepared to lawyer up if needed, more time and money, maybe there is a waiver path if he is found inadmissable.  Good luck!

Now that you've clarified "didn't put my name" to mean he lied and used a false name of fiancee, then the issue is not whether being engaged is legally binding.  The issue is that he lied.  How big an issue that will be down the road is impossible to predict, but if they found he lied, then there are likely to be consequences, you know, like in real life.

What's to be afraid of?  The OP's husband lied.  Yours told the truth.  Big difference.

Being engaged is not a legal status.  A fiance has no legal standing.

I don't know what you're worried about.  Your situation is not at all like the OP's.

Ensure you're compressed file is not larger than 6MB. Check in the file properties for the size.

I submitted all.my documents online and was facing the same problem. Then I tried again the next day and all of my documents were uploaded within no time. Like one of the responders said it might be a problem with USCIS website just keep trying and you will be able to upload. All the best.
  9. Thanks

It looks like a problem with the USCIS website, which happens often.  I suggest you be patient and keep trying, maybe tomorrow or Monday they'll upload properly.  Then once they are all uploaded and "ready," click the "submit" button.  Also check the size of the files you're trying to upload.  They may exceed the maximum file size.  If that is the case you may have to compress the files or upload them all separately.  Good luck!

One chance doesn't mean one upload file.  One chance means they will not issue a second RFE if what you submit doesn't clear up the problem

Are you planning to wait until after the oath to file the I130?  If so, it may be 30 or more days from the interview depending on the locality.  Btw, there are a lot of stories circulating that when filing an I129 (K3) with an I130 (CR1/IR1), it speeds up the overall process.  YMMV on that one, but feel free to try.  Regardless as others have said, the eventual visa will almost certainly be a CR1.  However, you may not be able to file the I129 as an LPR, so that may have to wait until after the oath ceremony, but you can get the I130 clock ticking and upgrade it after your oath.

As others have said, the I129f trick seems to have stopped working after October. The last approvals I had seen from it were in September-October and anyone who's filed since October or later has not heard anything yet. IOEs (the new system which every I130 is now part of) who filed I129f at any time haven't heard anything either

I'm not sure, but I think that trick stopped working in September or October......if I remember correctly........but there is no harm in trying...unless they actually issue a K-3......good luck.

How did u possibly get that from my question? Just trying to see if there is a faster way.

Yes that is the best option - hopefully you will get it completed soon.

Yes, the I129f can be used in addition to an I130 for a K3, however the K3 is no longer issued anymore. Last year there were only 4 issued, and the number is growing smaller every year, if any are even issued this year at all (likely not). Meaning, you will not receive a K3, IR1/CR1 is your only option. No faster way
  17. Thanks

No. CR1/IR1 spousal visa is your only option
