CASE ALREADY APPROVED MOMENTS AGO....

Almost a year & no hope of renuniting with my wife this year. It gets more frustrating week in week out.
 
Why should it take up to a year for families to be together?? To think a chunk of January petitions got approved about 2-3 months ago.... went through the worst when my wife( a nurse) had the virus in March....Thank God for healing. The thought of losing a wife is a crazy & petrifying feeling. 
 
Sometimes when I’m about to lose it, I just think about the fact that she is still alive & kicking...that is what keeps me going!
 
Still hoping for good news!

I got that reply from USCIS 5/21; no movement as of yet but I've requested my senator's office look into the case. We'll see what happens. Hopefully we are all approved soon!! 

Well the NVC IOE system wasn't quite ready until around March or April 2020. Since then approval and welcome letter are now like twins....

We think a change in date means that your file was 'touched' in some way. Could've been moved to a different department or something, but basically we had a date change on April 2nd and then were approved on April 6th. So your next date change will likely be just before your approval. Good luck!!

Is the risk factor and service to the nation in this period of epidemic enough grounds to expedite ?
 
You think they can approve the expedite base on this ?

I think you should try.....the USCIS officer told me it doesn’t affect your case if an expidite request is denied 

I think I read something that they were considering expediting cases for medical professionals but I don’t know if that is still happening. Worth a shot.

Yes we are in F2A still as my Oath got delayed due to Virus issue. Someone on this platform suggested about Facebook groups also. There it is more clear about the category through quick replies. VJ is best to know about processes or seek help in special cases. For general tracking I saw FB better as the user base is huge and hourly updates from so many (specially approval news) help in motivation :)

Hi all. I’m a bit late to post but our petition was approved!!! The IOE petitions are moving immediately to NVC so no more long waits from approval to receipt of NVC case #.

No RFE for i130 but received one for our i129f

We were originally at Texas but were transferred to California with the big group of petitions on Feb 23. Never received a notice of transfer but a tier 2 officer confirmed that we were transferred in March. We had a pending i129f that stayed in Texas. Interestingly, we received our welcome email from NVC before NOA2. California seems to be forgetting to do the final update because our petition still says pending review even though we already have our case number from NVC and have paid our fees. Our i129f also still shows pending and was never denied. Weird. Just happy that things are moving along. 
 
For those of you who haven’t been approved yet, I don’t know that any of the processing times are accurate. Probably best to follow the Texas times. California timeline is definitely not accurate. Hopefully they will update with a general IOE processing time to avoid confusion in the future since the big online pool of petitions is probably what is occurring now. 
 

Finally approved!   Service Center: Potomac (never transferred) PD: July 31, 2019 Approved/NOA2: April 1, 2020 The very first date change on our account happened in September, the next one happened on October 26 and stayed like that up until yesterday when it changed to March 31, then changed again very early this morning to April 1, and we were just approved probably 10 minutes ago!

Our case was approved. Thank you Lord!
