Amazing news! Congratulations! Please keep us posted on when you get notified of your oath ceremony.
My Oath ceremony is scheduled on Jan 6th. Yay. Thanks again for everyone’s help & support!

Guys. My I-751 case was approved on the same day I had my n-400 interview on Dec 9th. It was a combo interview after I reminded the officer I had a pending I-751. I was “grilled” for 2 hours but at the end of the interview, the officer gave me a big smile, congrated me, and wished me good luck in the US. I checked my USCUS account and the status for I-741 and N-400 both got updated. I am just waiting on the oath ceremony to be scheduled. Thanks for everybody’s support and help! I wish you all get approved real soon!

August 2021 ROC filer here, Texas service center. Filed N400 online on 08/28/2022. As of today, interview was scheduled. The interview will take place on Dec 16. Hopefully it’s a combo interview. Local office is Oklahoma City.

SRC August 2021 Filer here. Not sure if this is encouraging for everyone still waiting. My case finally got transferred to another office. It’s not approved yet but at least they worked on my case.
Good luck everyone! -

Sent originals... somewhere in the instructions or filing tips it actually says they want originals of affidavits. I know because I had the same question.
I sent originals too after I scanned them and saved copies on my laptop.

I don't think so , do you both driver license have the same address ? health insurance , dental , etc.. I guess whatever will work ..
Thank you for your response!
Yes, we do have the same address on our driver’s licenses, as well as all the insurance policies and utility bills. On a separate note, I also sent the old apartment lease (with both of our names on it ) before we moved to live on my mom’s property.

Hi I sent in my package on Sep 1st. I recently saw in other posts that when people don’t have any lease or mortgage, they ask the property owner to write them an affidavit. I totally forgot about getting an affidavit from my mom who allows us to live on her property for free. However, I did send the renter’s insurance. So my question is will I get an REF since I didn’t submit an affidavit? Thank you!

Congratulations!!!
can you please tell us about the interview? What did they ask you? And also did you have an I-693 or just DS-3025 was enough?
My interview is tomorrow and that will help me a lot. Thanks
Thank you! They went over the background check questions such as crime and terrorism questions that are included in the i-485 form with me. Didn’t ask us any other questions. They didn’t ask to see any document from us. So I don’t know if an-693 or DS-3025 is needed. Sorry about that!
Good luck to your interview tomorrow! -

Has your address changed?
I recommend signing up for the USPS Informed Delivery service. It is free and awesome. Every morning you will receive an email of the images of mail pieces you can expect that day.
Thank you for your response!
No, the address is still the same.
I signed up for that. So far I am still waiting on that notice.

You can call the 1800 number of USCIS and ask them about it, they will be able to double check it for you.
Thank you so so much for your help! I called and found out the interview date will be on the 18th Nov. And they are re-sending me the notice. I feel so relived now! You are my life saver!!!!!

Hi VJers.
I am about to file for my AOS and i plan to pay the fee of USD$1225 with money order. I went to Walmart and they told me the amount of a money order cannot exceed $1,000. So my question is if i can send in two money orders ($1000 + $225) for my filing fee?
Thanks in advance for your help. I truly appreciate this community!

Hi, do you mind sharing what documents you submitted for your mom’s application? Did you submit her marriage license (assuming she is/ has been married). Thank you so much in advance!
