Is it really going to take 10+ months to receive the 10 year GC? Unbelievable! Good luck with yours 😁

0NI got a reaction from OldUser in I-751 Filing Fee with Child Included
We just filed our ROC application last week. I have a K2 who also arrived here with me.
I included her in my application and only paid $750.
Received Receipt Notice last week and USCIS cashed my check today.
Hope this helps

Got both biometrics and receipt notice in my account last week on Tuesday or Wednesday. So far received only a biometrics reuse letter in the mail (yesterday). Still waiting for the receipt notice.

0NI reacted to Cilllah in AOS and ROC Approved Without Interview
We applied right at the end of December in 2022.

0NI reacted to OldUser in ROC fee updated?
Yes, new fees were introduced on April 1sr 2024.
The minor children are included in parent's I-751 for free as long as they became a Conditional Resident on the same day, or within 90 days of their parent.

0NI reacted to OldUser in ROC (Child with US Citizen Spouse)
You should include all children. There's a checkbox whether this child is applying for ROC with you. If the child is a US citizen, you leave this box unchecked.

Yeah. Mike E posted a link to the fee calculator. It will tell you exactly what fees are due.

We filed one application and paid one fee. Daughter was also over 21 at time of application. K2 has to use 5 year rule for N-400 so we are waiting to file those at the same time.
It was really hard to find guidance on what to do with K2 over 21. But, I think the consensus is that her residency is tied to mother's so they should be joined all the way through, minus citizenship.
This is one of the only things I could find about it and things seemed to work out for them (with the complication of gun permit application or something that messed things up):

0NI reacted to Mike E in Can I bring my K2 (19 years old) to my AOS interview
No. The 19 year old won’t even be allowed into the building. Walk in I-485 petitions haven’t been a thing for several decades.

0NI got a reaction from Crazy Cat in Can I bring my K2 (19 years old) to my AOS interview
My question is in the event that I get my Interview schedule for my AOS, can I bring my K2 (no interview schedule yet) so she can get interviewed the same day as I am?
Thanks.

Interview without an interview appointment. 😁
In the best case scenario, even if the security lets your child accompany you and and IO is ok with it, he/she won't have your child's file with him to interview her or go through her documents.

You cannot make your own laws.

0NI reacted to K1visaHopeful in AOS text message notice from USCIS received by K2 but K1 has not received confirmation yet.
That's irrelevant.
Each petition is separate.
There may be two different ppl reviewing them for receipt even.
