I think he got scheduled for the interview in April, but of course because of the pandemic, interview got cancelled. I figured that might be one of the reasons why they waived his interview.
My interview was scheduled on March 27 and got canceled due covid

Hi guys, I am planning to leave USA for some time. Flying back to my home country. I did my little investigation. Looks like proclamation saying that I am supposed to be allowed come back to the USA and travel ban does not apply to me. What do u thing?
Sec. 2. Scope of Suspension and Limitation on Entry. (a) The suspension and limitation on entry pursuant to section 1 of this proclamation shall apply only to aliens who:(iii) do not have an official travel document other than a visa (such as a transportation letter, an appropriate boarding foil, or an advance parole document) that is valid on the effective date of this proclamation or issued on any date thereafter that permits him or her to travel to the United States and seek entry or admission.
iv) any alien who is the spouse of a United States citizen;Another proclamation saying kind of the same but there is nothing about having advanced parole doc.
Section 1. Suspension and Limitation on Entry. The entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants, of all aliens who were physically present within the Federative Republic of Brazil during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States is hereby suspended and limited subject to section 2 of this proclamation.Sec. 2. Scope of Suspension and Limitation on Entry.
(a) Section 1 of this proclamation shall not apply to:(ii) any alien who is the spouse of a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident;
Tell me what u all guys thinking.
Also we called yesterday to US Customs border protection and one two representatives said opposite answers. Then I called, I was told that I won’t be allowed come back to the US. But maybe because I am not native speaker it was hard to explain my situation. When my spouse called CBP, he was told that I’m fine and proclamation exemption applicable to me.
Thanks,

Me either. My interview was meant to be on March 23, so I was hoping I would be one of the first to be notified about an interview. Haven’t heard a thing. Would love to think it’s because they’re going to approve my case without an interview, but I don’t have high hopes for that.
Mine was supposed to be on March 27th..

That's more reason to cull some of the cases is all I can figure. I don't know how they select which cases to waive, but I'm a September 2019 filer and we were just approved and green card is being produced. Our interview was canceled. I know of another person this happened too also. I suspect that in the coming weeks we will see more of these. I'm speechless about it still.
So that means some of us can expect the same?
my interview supposed to be on 27th March.
18th March canceled interview
19th ready to be scheduled

Our was also canceled today. We were supposed to have interview on 27th, March. I called USCIS, they said they will reschedule interview within next 90 days.

The I-131 gets used for multiple purposes. For a k1 you don;t even need to state a reason to travel.
Ap/Combo is treated the same at a POE except they will verify the AOS is still pending. Even it there is a NOID you are allowed back in.
Try not to get into trouble at home! Just Kidding! You will be fine.
There is nothing about K1. I’m traveling now based on combo card, not K1 visa..based on form I-131 there is question where your are planning to travel and why. Just following what asked to answer and provided answer in form..

Did you apply for multiple trips or it is just open to multiple trips by default?
I just mentioned countries that I’m planning to visit, but UK was not it that list so I guess just by default they allow u to travel

I want to travel out of the US with the advance parole.....
Do I use my home country passport? Or forget about it?
Do I need to bring marriage certificate?
What else? Have you done it? Can you give me instructions?
Hi,
I just came back from UK two days ago. So if u are interested I can share my experience. When I arrived to US airport (it was directed flight from London to Houston), I provided for officer my home country passport, combo card, marriage certificate. He was looking for something , then he called other officer, said “soft” and I followed that another officer for secondary. I was waiting there like 15mins. I saw when He took folder with all my documents, I got stamp to my passport. Then officer called my last name, asked reason for traveling outside the US and gave me back all my documents. That’s all. I was kind of scared that for some reasons they won’t let me in back to the US. Also I got briefcase, so he told me do not forget to pay duty taxes at airport. It took for me one hour. This is the part when I got A LOT of questions. Why, when, how much, why do I need that, who paid for that etc . Anyway, after one hour almost they gave me receipt, I paid and left airport.
Now I’m flying again back to Europe, will see, how I won’t get in trouble lol
best of luck for y’all

Thank you both regarding this! Hopefully a SSN isn't required for most jobs then as I want to be in work prior to Christmas!
How long did your SSN take to arrive?
Absolutely agree with you there, there isn't anything nearby here which is my old job but hopefully it comes across as transferable as it is!
It took for me almost 2 weeks

It really doesn't mean that SSA may well issue and mail you a card and they may as well forget it. As soon as my son's combo card arrives, I will go there in person. In fact, that's what SSA representative told me to do when I was there last time. I surely wouldn't rely on what we checked in the petition
Hi. Yes! I agree with u. This is what I did. When I got my combo card and went after week to SSA and applied for SSN. SSA supposed to have request already from USCIS at that time but nothing was done from USCIS side lol
