Maria Yanez reacted to Ale Valdez in Switching for NVC to I-485
Hello Maria, I’m actually wanting to do the exact same thing you are doing. We are just waiting for our interview win Juarez but I’m wanting to see if maybe I can get advance parolee and fix my status from the USA since I have 2 little ones. How long did it take you to get the advance parolee?

You have not applied for a visa. A petition has been filed and approved, not a visa application.

Ask yourself, have you applied? I guess No.
Do not withdraw, just let the NVC know that you will be doing AOS with the uscis. You can file for AOS in the meantime.

Maria Yanez reacted to Iscir in I-130 notice of action receipt 1 (NOA1)
If you wrote your full name on the forms then don't worry, it won't be a problem. my NOA1 doesn't have my middle name either, only my first name and two last names

Maria Yanez reacted to arken in I-130 filling format question?
Highlighting on supporting docs is fine, make sure you use light color shades. Dark colored highlights may appear as black on the scans they make.
2 hole punch is fine in all including the form.

I sent the wrong one for my husband and the NVC told me just to take the correct one to the interview. but I have seen other people get there's when they are there in Juarez before the appointment. If you have a Facebook go to a page called citados al consulado en cd Juarez. a lot of people give advice and share their experience.

Maria Yanez reacted to Just Paul in I-130 process required docs?
No need to wait. The Naturalization certificate is an acceptable document.

Copy of naturalization certificate is enough.

Maria Yanez reacted to OKCgonzalez in What comes after the visa is approved in foreign country ?
Once your i130 is approved they will transfer your case to the NVC, since your process is through the Consulate in Juarez. Then you will need to pay fees with NVC, file and get i-601a approved. Once you have that approved then you can continue filling out the NVC forms DS-260 and the AOS/i864, and send all the required paperwork for the NVC to schedule your appt. Through the consular process you don't fill out a i485
