You are right the 11th is most likely a holiday.

December 18 to January 6th seems like a lot however I remember NVC working really slow those 2 weeks because of the holidays.
Also December 25th and January 1st are holidays.

Hopefully more ILs still coming for November

So I guess priority back to K-1 as I saw somebody got an interview on November 16th.
That’s a Monday which we thought was reserved for the spousal.

Hopefully like @pooj97 said there’s only 2 from Canada. But this is alllll so frustrating. Last summers shutdown of interviews that only affected spousal but not the k-1. Then Montreal should have resumed the spousal visas earlier as per the june 22 proclamation but they didn’t...waited another 2 months at which point they also started the k-1s as well so now it’s at a standstill again.
Hopefully we hear by next week.

I'm approved!!!

The whole process only took about 75 minutes. They asked for:
-birth certificate
-passport photos
-divorce decree
-marriage certificate
-police certificates (I had them for Canada, UK and UAE)

After the first window and taking biometrics, I was told to wait until I was called for the 'interview' portion.

Questions I was asked was:
-Where did you meet and when?
-How often did you see each other? (since he was in the US and you in Dubai?)
-When did you get married?
-What husband does for a living?
-Is this both of your first marriages?
-Current US address

Because my medical expires on October 16, he strongly advised me to pick up my visa in-person at the consulate, so I'll do that as soon as it's ready.

It was streamlined process all in all.
