@Greenbaum are we supposed to get something from NVC, it's been 40 days since my NOA2 on march 3rd. Nothings came in the mail.  I did call the 18th and got a case number which when I check it on the ceac site just says at NVC. Isn't there a welcome letter or something? Does it even matter to get it of o have the case number?

I feel confused and probably shouldn't be but can't be helped. So got noa2 March 3rd,  called NVC on March 18th and got the case number, tomorrow is the 30th date but haven't gotten anything else,  and when I get the case number at the ceac just says at NVC,  was hoping for movement yesterday but nope.  My fiancee still has completed the DS 160, can that hold it up from shipping? I hate everything being haunted and so much in the air of when progression of things will occur now.  Am I fine?  Or should He or I be doing something more or else?

Q1. 

With annual income should I just use what my tax return showed for 2019 or should I calculate my hourly by 40 hrs each week? 

I also get SSI for my son because my ex husband is on disability and has a family fund account,  which I include in my taxes.  Would I also want to add that has well?  Then there is child support each month, which I don't put on my taxes cause you don't have to since it's not taxable income or required.  

The reason I'm not sure what all to include is my company also had a ton of overtime last year due to switching systems,  which is time and a half for me, which means I got about 7 months of overtime when normally its about 3 or 4 months each yr. 

I may be over thinking all this I'm sure,  but I don't wanna be accused of inflating my income or anything. I make well above the 125%

So would it be best to just do tax transcipt amount plus child support OR calculate hourly, SSI,  and child support all together?

What does other personal property entail? 

I have a car on finance

I have a car sitting dead in my garage that's like worth 100 bucks

I rent and own no property

Do TVs, furniture etc. get included in that? 

Q3. 

Checking and saving accounts.  Do i just use Round that number because I mean when I put a number in there it could be a few hundred difference by the time a CO looks at it.

I personally dont have insurance policy on me but if my company does do I put that,  I think they do when I sign up for insurance renewal but can't remember. No idea what a cash surrender value is either.

Good morning all! So based off of what I was seeing in the February thread I decided after 15 days  from when I got my noa2 I would try calling NVC,  and I got my case number!😁 She advised it has yet to been forwarded to the embassy but I should get an email when it does, so we shall see.  I'm trying very hard to stay positive and optimistic thru this whole world wide shutdown situation ,  but today is good news. Also only held about 5 mins before someone picked up which was awesome. Hope everyone has a lovely day!

While I felt like I was going to be doing the packet forever, it feels so good to be making progress, even if it’s just small steps. 

 

Probably a stupid question, but do I need to list that my case was transferred on my timeline since it’s in California now?

Anything you can see INK either on the back or front in the form of a stamp is considered a certified copy.

Well if they don't like what I sent I suppose I'll get and RFE. Not much I can do about it now.

NOA2 in 77 days, K1 approved in 177 days.

They are stamped copies,  same thing I would have gotten if they physically handed them to me.

I had 2. I just sent my arrest report and case dismissal which I was able to just call and have them email.  The other was just a court docket showing I paid the fine and case dismissed. I'm currently waiting on NOA2 but based on what I've read on here it should be enough. I also just advised on the application the 2 charges in a brief description. So include paperwork showing what you did and then the out come  Should be good.

Got my hard copy today,  now the months of limbo to get thru,  which is nice cause at least getting it turned in isn't stressing me out anymore now its just work and mass amounts of overtime That does.  Fingers crossed & positive vibes we all have a smooth ride thru this processes!
