Could you does a favor. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.
So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.
Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.
Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.
Thanks

That's just a generic answer. It does not take that long, you'll find the NVC process is much faster than USCIS

I thought I'd give NVC a call tonight to see if maybe by chance they received our case (I had a feeling they didn't lol) Just got off of the phone...
Called 603-334-0700 couldn't even get through to an operator phone disconnected after the prompts were over
Called 603-334-0088 took less than a minute to get connected to an operator, she looked up our case and to no surprise they still haven't received it she said it can take up to 6 weeks, which I knew thanks to VJ! I'll try again in a few days 😊

Wow USCIS is running through November like sliced bread. I hope they keep it up until everyone is approved. Congrats to all the November approvals.

We all are here to try and help each other out. It's the ones who want to be spoon fed and never try and answer their own questions that drive me batty. Especially those who ask the same question as an individual that had asked it just before and I answered it. Didn't even take the time to read the post that were entered since they were last on. But anywhoo. Ask away.

There is really no need to call except to get the NVC case number. That you will use to follow the status of your case on ceac.state.gov.
So USCIS approves your case when all background checks (BGC) have been completed and they are satisfied with the outcome of the BGC. It is sent to NVC for the case number. The NOA2 is sent to the petitioner which at that point you can make a call to NVC to see if a case number has been assigned. If not then wait a day or two and call back. Once you have the number then you can go to ceac.state.gov for updated status reports. As a K1, when checking your case online at CEAC.state.gov you have to select "immigrant visa" as it is treated as such even though it is a "non-immigrant visa". Technically the K-1 is a non-immigrant visa with intent to immigrate, but it is treated like an immigrant visa because of the AOS. It is kind of a ba$tard. Non-immigrant case treated like an immigrant case. The K-1 on its own is a single entry, with a short time limited visa that expires within 90 days after POE. That is why it is a non-immigrant visa treated like an immigrant visa.
Once you see your results You'll be in either of three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview. These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number.

There's background checks in every stage of the process. Receiving the case number just means that they have received your case and have assigned it to an embassy, but usually if you get that case number before the Wednesday prior to shipment day, you're good to ship the following shipment. In your case since you have your case number already, you have a very good chance to have yours shipped April 2nd.
