documents review date has moved forward from 4-April to 12-April today on the state.gov website. lets hope everyone gets mail from nvc today.
-
They can take up to 3 weeks for review. How long did it take to review your documents first time.

No, we had the online-only process, submitting everything through the CEAC.
Ok I didn't understand your point about sending only one passport photo in file.

I haven't yet! But I feel like i might need to, because I sent only one passport photo in the file
Well, I guess I have to wait until they change status of everything on the website
Did you do docs submission by courier?

she'll resend the email, but still no email an hout later
she confirmed the email address, i also check junk mail. there is none since april 18
first of all, congrats on Interview date, now hurry up, you have only two weeks, you need to finish medical asap for which you need interview letter. call up nvc again and give them a different email address, create a gmail address if you haven't already, normally gmail has been pretty reliable for me for emails from nvc.

Thank you. What is bothering me is if they forgot mine lol! Is it possible they can miss a date? 😐
no they can't miss dates. There is no order for review, even though they are supposed to follow it. You will get it soon.

You better call NVC and check if they have already assigned you interview date, you might have not received interview letter. A file is sent to embassy only after interview letter (unless you expedited it.)

Those waiting for interview, here is an official response from NVC to the AILA made in 2015 about how they setup interviews at various consulates (Posts);
NVC schedules appointments two times per month on a first-come, first-served basis based upon the appointment capacity of the post. If a case is documentarily qualified (DQ), it will be placed in the appointment queue and a letter confirming DQ status will be sent to the agent/beneficiary. Most interviews are scheduled within 30 days of the case being recognized as DQ. But, if demand at a particular post is high, it may take longer. NVC receives posts’ appointment capacity only on a monthly basis so is not able to predict when a specific case may receive an interview appointment. Once an appointment has been set, NVC sends a notice to the applicant with the appointment date and time, along with a link to the post website with further information about how to prepare for the interview. The case file is then prepared for shipping (or electronic transfer for posts who accept electronic processing) and sent to post within 10 days. Posts receive appointment and shipment lists from NVC electronically and generally receive the physical case file within 10 days of the scheduled interview.

Wow congrats! When did they notify you?
Efsis received interview date around April 12, since @Fts30 is also same IR-1 category, they should have received notification same time.

Eb3 CC 19 April.
I thought the interviews were scheduled based purely on CC and not category.
How long after document submission did you get CC.
-
Any updates? I am hoping they will finish most doc reviews today and tomorrow before the month ends.

What was their CC date?
CC: March 15. Interview date was may 2nd.
While the family visa CC was Mar 22, interview may 14th if I remember correctly.

I don't understand. Interviews are set by category and Priority date and CC.
I know someone in EB-5 who got interview date on April 5, while another person in IR-1 got it April 12. I am not sure about eb3. But I believe you will get a June interview date.

No waiting at Abu Dhabi, usual like others. different EB categories have different priorities, which one is yours?

Hey good people.
How long does it take to have interview date after NVC approves the documents? Or how can I find out how long my consulate takes to schedule interviews?
Consulate is in Nairobi, Kenya
Have you gotten your CC already?

Anyone thinks NVC might schedule the interview from today ?
I don't think so, from the data I have been gathering for the past few months, they are starting to schedule interviews only after the 5th of every month till the 21-22nd.
*I am not talking about expedite cases.

There is no minimum time to stay before getting SSN card. You will have to call up the SSN office or visit one near you to find out about the card.

Now there is a very strange situation: I got a message on April 13 that my son (petitioner for both parents) doesn’t meet the minimum required income and the consular officer will decide whether approve or not my petition, while my husband didn’t. Since my son is a very well payed self employed lawyer (lucky him!) and his tax return prove it, we thought it could have been a misreading by the person looking at my file. Today my husband received the same message. We looked again very carefully at the required minimum income on Government website and it is very below my son income for the last two years. Has somebody a reasonably explanation about that? I’m getting pretty nervous!
I think your son should call NVC and find out why those messages were sent.
