Repeat this to yourself, aloud, several times in a row, louder and with more conviction each time:
"One day soon, I'll look back on this and be grateful for how much better I'm doing."

Stand in front of a mirror and convince your reflected image.

Hi Folks, after much thought and consideration, I  decided 4 days ago to create an Instagram page. Feel free to add me ok. On my Instagram I will post about my daily life and about abuse as well. It won't be just about abuse.   I am answering the private messages here a bit late, please be patient with me,  but I have a nasty cold.   My nickname is xanda and I am brazilian then my instagram page is   xandabrazilian   Happy Holidays.

https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/lapse-federal-funding-does-not-impact-most-uscis-operations, I don't think vawa expiration has anything to do with I-360.

Yes, some prima facie are for 6 months and renewable and some are for 1 year and also renewable if the need be. Rfe can still be issued after prima facie depending on the officer in charge or situation of the case. Our cases are unique and our story are never the same in it's contents.

My green card arrived earlier than the estimated delivery.  Super fast, and also received the letter of approval and welcome package.  Happy day, and early christmas gift  😀

Your attorney is incompetent.Yes you can represent yourself,if you fires him.

You husband can’t deport you. He can withdraw the l130/l864W if he filed for you, once he withdraws Uscis will deny the AOS and you need to file a new one right away.

@escape I second everything you just said!! I am so glad to be away from him finally after 16 years. When I look back on all the things I endured from him for the sake of our children, what he put me through, the lies he told against me, the financial hardship he is subjecting us to currently because I had the courage to finally leave him. He actually told his relatives that the children and I will never survive without him, but to the glory of God we are still standing strong. He is already getting his karma as his business is currently suffering and some of his business partners are cutting him off, that's God at work. How a person can refuse to provide for his own children is a mystery to me, but we all come from different family backgrounds, and I guess he just comes from the worst!!
I thank God for sparing my life.

@Par.Hast actually today I am kind of glad my abuser withdrew the 130.
I had good proof to see how low and evil that person is. I doubted myself many times (I know I shouldn’t, but I did a lot in the past) And also, I cut one more tie with the that evil ex partner. Now I have my own 485, the abuser has no access, no idea if it, no way to know anything about it. It’s such a relief! Priceless.
  10. Thanks

@Par.Hast my abuser withdrew the 130, hence the denial of the old 485. I refilled the 485 in Aug 2017.
I had filed my 360 in June 2017, before the withdrawal  of the 130. And all of this was prior to the new laws and NTA after denial.
  11. Thanks

Sandra has posted about this before. Since you sent a new 485 your old one is done with so to speak. You are eligible to file for an EAD either based on your new 485 c09 OR with an approved VAWA c31. If your attny does not know this they are not an experienced VAWA attny and you may want to consider finding a new one. (you can not renew your old EAD because you filed a new 485 instead of asking them to hold the old 485)
Im sure someone somewhere got approved in 3 months or less but currently thats not happening.

Just be patient. If it’s been more than 6 weeks, I would get worried and follow up but not before then.
  16. Thanks

File a new I-765 just when they deny the previous AOS. Until now your previous AOS is still pending then your EAD is still valid.

I read about it here. And here is the link

I don't know how accurate it is. I get confused with all these laws.

Depending on how fast the IO is that initially looks over your petition, it should be around 4 weeks. Mine took 6 weeks. You can’t track this since you don’t have your case numbers yet. Just be patient. This is one of the shorter waits.
If your mail tracking number says delivered, you are all good.

    It takes 2-4 weeks average,
mine took from May 25 2017 to June 12 2017 = 18 days USCIS to get notices in the mail and website.
