Oh—no we didn’t. We sent 7 pictures total (with descriptions of each) in the i129f and our boarding passes to visit each other. No phone logs or receipts or messages. We’ve been working with a lawyer and he did not recommend them. He said that pictures of you and your fiancé (especially if you have some with other people together or family) are the most impactful. We’ve shared ones from family holidays, vacations, friends with us etc. He says that the officers honestly don’t find anything else as valuable.

    oh ok congratulations again.

I’m not sure what that means :) if you are asking if we applied for a waiver or tried to speed up the process, then no—we just waited throughout the standard processing. It took 7 months for NOA2 and then 2 more months for NVC, Embassy, Medical and interview. Total time 9 months since applying before visa is in hand (for us atleast).

Meaning did you send alot of proof of ongoing relationship with the initial I-129f petition like Pictures, call log, text message, gift receipts etc @Abbey B

Just wanted to update everyone and share the positive news of our Interview APPROVAL. For those who are nervous, (although I can't speak for everyone's case), please try not to be--because it was extremely straight forward and easy.

They didn't even open the notebook with all of our paperwork in it--we had our evidence with pictures and documents supporting our relationship and they didn't even look at them.

They only asked for the I-134, tax returns, the medical, the DS160 confirmation page, the approved I-129F, passport pictures, birth certificate & military discharge.

    The only questions asked were:

    1) How did you two meet?

    2) When was the last time you saw each other?

    3) What do you do for a living?

    Done & approved.

Be confident, know your relationship, and don't go crazy putting together TONs of evidence (we only had 15 pictures and proof of our joint bank account--no need to provide Skype screenshots, WhatsApp conversations etc) these officers usually have a good "gut feeling" about each case so they pretty much know their answer before they even meet you (since they've reviewed your paperwork a few minutes prior).

Again, everyone's case is different and it's always better to have "more" just in case but likely, it won't be needed.

    Good luck everyone!!

Congratulations on your approval! Did you guys front load your petition? @Abbey B

  4. My case has been in transit for 13 days from NVC to embassy..  Can someone let me know if I should go ahead and email the embassy? Is it too soon to email the embassy regarding my case?  I have noticed that the consulate receives many cases within a week  from NVC..  Ghana members can someone please fill me in on this one. Thanks in advance.

    WOHOOO... IN TRANSIIIIIIT

I'm working and screaming and I don't think people understand how much joy these little steps bring! hahahaha

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. <------ Did you get this message?  I thought we schedule our own appointment. I'm happy and confused at the same time LOL.

Here is what you'll receive for your P3 from your Embassy. You have an advance copy. You still need to be in touch with your Embassy for instructions.

Spain requires the embassy send the packet 3 which allows the beneficiary to schedule and attend the medical and needs to be brought to the medical appointment, and in order to book the interview Spain requires packet 4. I have not verified this but this information came from someone who processed recently.

Hi @Greenbaum do you have one for Ghana?
