Hey Fam!❤❤❤😀😀 God has singled out this day to bless me!🙏 I got my interview letter on the 27th of Jan..interview for March 2nd..I committed it all in God's hands where it belongs!🙏 my interview was for 8am..I arrived federal plaza at 7: 15am checked in and all..my attorney wasn't there yet..they asked if I wanted to wait for her I said no! Was called in at 7:40am and an angel..immigration officer white male nicest ever..soft spoken..kind..etc..just breezed through yes or no..asked what I wanna do in the future..said I wanna get another MSc degree first then start up my own business as I wanna be self employed..this officer was so easygoing..I mean God gave me more than I prayed for🙏🙏🙏 not up to 10mins he said you will get your GC next week. He shook my hands and said you can file for you mum and dad when you become a citizen..take care and have a great day..oh he has no idea! It's celebration over and over!  Got update while I was still in the building! Please my loves it pays to serve God. Cast all your burdens and cares on HIM!!!🙌🙌🙌

Hi VJ Fam! Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I just want to share with you all my travel experience , especially to those who are planning to travel with their EAD/AP. This I just got back on Jan. 4 from my 3-week vacation from my country (Btw,this is my 2nd trip with my EAD/AP). It was a smooth entry at JFK-NY. I went in line with th immigration, no questions ask, just brought to another room to be checked by CBP. I just hand my passport and EAD/AP card. Same thing, no questions. After I’m clear, They just hand me a orange card to be given to an officer on my out, and that’s it.

I’m not sure what the orange card was for but there were different colors, like green and blue and white. I’m thinking maybe it’s to keep track of people holding advanced parole in different categories? 🤔

My bad. just tick if you will use your AP for 1 trip or more. I chosen 1 but i guess as far as your AP is valid, you can use it as many times. the rest sections you should not filled so they are not applicable just leave it as blank unless you want your AP to deliver in a different country

I know! They’re just taking advantage of the people who have already been through enough. 😫 I filed my I360 on Sept 2018. I’m thinking of just waiting for my C31 EAD. Hopefully it comEs before March 2020. I don’t know 😞 Any thoughts?

I think you should renew on your own, because year 2020 is around the corner, and they still working with late 2017 and beginning of 2018 so is not for sure you will have C31 by than is better to be save and have a valid EAD to continue working.... I think before doing it you should inform your lawyer you can't afford the fee they are charging you and you will be doing it own your own so everything will be clear.
I-765 form is a simple Form, you fill out online and print out, follow USCIS instruction, and sent copy of your I-485 and I-360 and the others requirements to Vermont Service Center. Receipt may go to your lawyers address since is the save address Vermont have, I usually received a copy of everything that is sent to my lawyer as well.

I would say discuss with your attorney and inform him/her that you prefer to file the
I-765  application to renew your EAD by yourself. The primary reason being the legal expenses associated with going through an attorney.
  22. Thanks
MGJ_NY reacted to namastenyc in VAWA, Part 16
Don’t take a chance and wait for the vawa to be approved and to receive a new work permit under c31 category, the currrnt processing timelines are way too unpredictable.

The safest option is to just file an application to renew your EAD under c09 category instead.
  23. Thanks

Go ahead and renew like I adviced yesterday..you don't know when the i360 will be approved..all the best dear!🙏👍

MGJ_NY reacted to Shroy123 in VAWA, Part 16
file it by your own. you do not need an attorney. make sure you use c09 category. and do not pay renewal fee
