I was one month shy of two years myself (mostly due to the delay with RFE on my attorney's part I responded promptly but she needed to go on vacation.. that was crazy... story for another day)💁...it wasn't easy, New York is terrible for immigration issues it's billions of people here.. remember if any office is not productive, try another that's what I did until I found Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Praying for you and everyone else here still waiting!🙏

I emailed my Senator the other day but their response was my "case was still within normal processing time", which I don't agree with since the website says it's already processing cases filed in October 2018. I'll be calling my district representative tomorrow and see if they could help. Any advice?

Folks as you know every year I have a meetup with some survivors of abuse, last year was in Central Park, NYC. It was great,t but this year due to the Covid19 I will not meet the survivors, but next summer probably I will have the meetup in Texas. I keep postponing Texas,lol but I have a lot of people there that I handled their Vawa petitions.
 
This year so far I had 63 VAWA cases approved(Visa Journey's members), plus 98 private cases approved. 60% of the cases from Visa journey's members I worked pro bono.
 
USCIS, as usual, is acting crazy. I have cases filed in May and June 2019 approved, but I have cases filed in  2018 still pending adjudication, then do not be discouraged if you filed your VAWA in 2018.

Yes, I received 2 notifications within one minute of each other, first was my name was updated, and the next was my card is being produced. Today is my card has been mailed to me. So excited, can't wait 🙂
Believe me, your C31 card is here now, proclaim it in Jesus name, it is here in your hands. I look forward to your exciting news as well this week by the grace of God Almighty 😍🙌, we need to celebrate once this great country of ours is free of this terrible pandemic.

I received my EAD today and it has the same exact thing. My previous ones also had fingerprints before, not sure what caused this change.

i360 sent August 28 2018
RFE (police clearance) received in mid September 2018
RFE answered and received October 23 2018
i360 APPROVED March 18 2020
 
I am beyond happy, I cannot believe this moment has finally come, even in these hard times with the virus that is trending right now, I have one thing to be truly happy about!
My case got approved and one chapter has come to an end, I know I still have a lot to go in this journey, but I feel like the most hardest and toughest part is over. I had a flashback to back in 2018 when I felt hopeless, scared, lonely and was I feeling like nothing or no one can save me. But I was patient and I never lost faith in myself. I always believed there is something good even in the worst things in life. I guess this was my present.
 
To everyone still waiting for approvals - never lose hope and always believe in yourself!
 
P.S. Evidences I sent :
- my own personal statement
- 2 statements from my friends
- only one utility bill
-credit card statement
-pictures of abuse and wounds
-statements from primary care doctor and dentist
 
I did not have psychological evaluation or police reports or statements from shelter.
