  1. AFAIK, and according to what several CBPOs told me, LPRs are required to tie their GE status to their GC and not use their foreign passport at the kiosk. My foreign passport never worked at a GE kiosk. An LPR’s sole entry document is an I-551, not a foreign passport.
  2. 1. Yes 2. Organize photos into a PDF file. Each page: * is standard 8.5” x 11” in portrait layout * has 4-6 photos per page * has captions under or within (i do within) each page: - who is in the photo - where photo was taken - date photo was taken How many photos?
  3. 2. Is the sole option. Online I-131 is not available for your situation. After mailing it, the applicant cannot leave the U.S. until the I-131 receipt is mailed back.
  4. Do not use the GC as the I-9 document. Use state ID and the unrestricted SS card as tge I-9 documents. Otherwise he will be subject to re-verification.
  5. Interesting. My bank was never been interested in seeing my GC and has never rejected my W-9. I have never heard of a bank with holding taxes of someone who filed W-9 with a valid SSN. If a US bank withheld interest for taxes after being provided a proper W-9, I would shop for another bank.
  6. What is the practical point of that?
  7. It is a common problem. I’ve even had a bank reject my unexpired green card. That the bank rejected your unexpired foreign passport is a problem. This means if your spouse were to pass away or become incapacitated you would be unable to access your assets. So if your state motor vehicles department refuses to issue state ID to you, then you need to find a bank that accepts the documents you have, and transfer your assets.
  8. No worries. In the future (i.e any thing for the K-1 visa the consulate uses, I-485 packet, I-751, and N-400), use DHL next day service. This way it goes directly to the DoS/USCIS facility. Always send on a Monday that is not a federal holiday so that it arrives before Saturday and you are not stressing over it sitting outside the office all weekend. That is too bad, because I-129F was the simplest part of the process. I-129F was not the better choice for someone who is prone to stress. Also I-130 can be filed online.
  9. I thought I knew what liquid meant. Then I read: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/796115-using-just-assets-beware/
  10. You cannot use USPS to the other address. All USPS mail for I-129F must go to the address you used. USPS delivered it to where it was sent. It cannot force USCIS to collect it. In this situation, because USPS express mail is delivered to a post office box, it does not buy you anything over USPS priority mail. Does the beneficiary have kids aged 16-17 or aged 19-20? If so, I can see the sense of urgency.
  11. Did you send it to this address: U.S. Postal Service (USPS): USCIS Attn: I-129F P.O. Box 660151 Dallas, TX 75266-0151 ?
  12. You need to enter their names. Otherwise it is perjury no.
  13. list her husband on the I-130 where it asks for her spouse No. Ib fact you cannot. Waste of money to do so. ? no One fee for I-130 30 years or more from now, the DS-260 fee for each person, and if the visas are issued, the the immigrant fee for each person to get green cards
  14. As per clarification from @African Zealot and OP, this was not a business trip. So it is even more strange
  15. Was the beneficiary from Sierra Leone? What are her ties to Sierra Leone? March 2023 as per above So the situation is, the petitioner * has filed I-130s for others in the past * has not seen the beneficiary for 3 years * opted to take a personal trip to Africa check on the status of a second home instead of seeing the beneficiary The CO is naturally suspicious.
  16. I do not know how many vials of blood will need to be drawn, but it will surely be a single blood draw session if she gives the primary care doctor the list of immunizations she knows she had along with the list required to get a green card. I would expect a separate lab test for each immunization on a sample from one of the vials, but the mechanics of the lab process do not concern her.
  17. She can ask her primary care doctor to perform / order titer tests to verify her immunity or ask the panel physician to perform / order the tests
  18. Correct. If one is a service member in U.S. today, or at any time on or was after 9/11, or was at any other time of war, LPR status is not even required to naturalize.
  19. My read of https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/chapter4.pdf says other wise
  20. Your I-485 was approved in 2021. It is surprising your GC does not have your I-485 receipt number aka case number. My wife’s first GC (approved 2020) had her I-485 case number After RoC, her second GC (approved 2022) had her I-751 case number. My first GC had no case number. My second GC had my I-90 case number.
  21. Not all green cards have a receipt number.
  22. I would use the receipt number on the extension letter
