    Where and who does the child live with? Will the child's mother allow her to immigrate to the US? If the child's mother will not allow her to immigrate there is no point filling for her, just make sure she is listed in all your forms just the same.

    I'm not sure why someone would tell your wife to get that done at the local courts. Anything immigration related needs to be dealt with by them. Plus it was their mistake so make them fix it at their cost.

    First off lets get things straight. That part of your post that I underline needs to be cleared up. Yes you were charged and convicted. You had a diversion sentence and that makes your record clean. So back to your question. You don't say what the issue was but if it qualifies for diversion it probably and I say probably won't stop you from going to other countries. Now here is the kicker, things like a DUI will prevent you from entering Canada, the US doesn't take it as serious as Canada sees it. So now find out where you want to go. Check out their websites for visitors and read up what types of crimes would stop you from entering. Then nothing will surprise you when you try to enter.

    This is pretty much what I replied back with. Told the CO as soon as we can book a JP we would get married.

    She is here now and AOS is allowed, but leaving, getting married and coming back in AOS is not allowed. Sure you don't have plans to adjust now but you're here asking about just that. You're still planning on adjusting down the road and that plan is now with full intent just because your plan is not to do it right away it is still planned. Who knows after you get married and she plans on entering the US with her student visa they wouldn't discover the marriage and then deny her entry. Best plan is to just go ahead get married stateside and start the AOS process. If it is a wedding you want with her family you can go ahead and plan that part after she gets AP and still have the wedding.

    Glad to read Mini-B is doing well without the phone. It must be a relief to see his change for the better. you can air fry the garlic bread, but the oven is really not hard to do too. Just depends on how much you want to cook at a time.

    Don't forget that not everyone is on VJ and it is possible some who are on VJ just hasn't reported the IL. December does tend to have a smaller amount of interviews. Hopefully that is all that is going on.

    I never go the extension letters for my kids. We didn't end up needing them(they should have requested one when getting their DL but they accepted mine) we got lucky I guess. We didn't travel either so that helped. With the way things are going and how long it is taking I would get the extension letter for your child.

    Well I'm glad someone else said it because it screamed scam when I first read the OP.

    It cannot be any doctor and the ones who you get to pick from do not just want to fill out a form. They make you redo the medical and this is not cheap.

    Call the clinic and ask if it is ok if you get the vaccines started and fax them proof to update your medical. You might get lucky and they haven't mailed it off yet. The first two doses of Hep B need to be given 30 days apart, the 3rd dose is 6 months from the second dose. If you can fax all the vaccines proof that your GP gave, you might be able to have them mark off that it is completed. Without having to start over from square 1 in the US, as finding a doctor to just update and fill in the vaccine worksheet seems to be hard to find.

    You should ask for the notes in his passport. It might help figure out what all is going on and what they may have done.
