You need to look at the countries you are wanting to go to. As some countries such as Canada you will not be allowed entry until you apply for a waiver and are granted one.

It will really depend on the State. In Arkansas I just gave them my Canadian DL and they issued an Arkansas DL.
My two boys used the fee waiver. They were both approve and no issues at all. They were college students and worked FT, lived at home with us. My husband figure why not try and save money.

In this situation if they want to pass on US citizenship to the child after entry they will need something that states the father has custody of the child too.
It does not apply to you. It would be if you had a previous marriage and child from that marriage. Then they want to see that you are paying child support.
