  1. Thanks! It's almost over... oath is this Thursday! Good luck to you as well!!!
  2. I must have missed the part about bringing a pen. But yeah, it was all electronic for me.
  3. Congrats! Here's hoping you get your oath scheduled for this Thursday! See you there.
  4. Thanks! You write on the tablet screen with a pen, no typing at all. Good luck!
  5. Yeah it's scary given what's at stake. But look at it this way - you already know the questions AND their answers. It's not a big unknown. You got this!!
  6. Photocopies and originals of passports, birth certificates, green cards, etc. I did not take copies of documents I had already submitted. I did however take new copies of documents representing finances (bank statements, mortgage, etc). Good luck! You will be fine.
  7. The general consensus is that these estimates are useless. However, mine was down to 16-18 days I think and I got my interview scheduled. Could be a coincidence. Others have similar experience too. But several others don't have similar experience. Depends on case by case. I hope you get your interview scheduled soon! The second half of 2022, they sped up the process of interviews it seemed like so who knows, you will get yours scheduled soon perhaps. Good luck man.
  8. Was good! Passed and my ceremony is also on the same day at the same location. I know one more person who also has their oath ceremony on the same day, the same location.
  9. Best wishes!! The other bro filed about a month before you and got his interview date so hopefully you get yours soon too! MSP is making progress on cutting the wait time it seems.
  10. Oh man, I am so happy to hear this! Almost done!!!!!! 😀
  11. The case status changed today to Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed. I checked my account and a pdf had been uploaded with oath ceremony date of 02/16 at St Paul River Center in downtown St Paul.

  13. Oh wow, congrats!!!!! Yeah it will definitely be a combo interview. FYI, I used the 'U.S. citizenship test' app and it was good. I am sure others are good too. Good luck brother.
  14. Thank you!! 🙏 Wishing for yours to be done soon as well!!
  15. Thanks! Seems like 7-9 months is the going rate for MSP N-400 filers, hopefully you won't have to wait too long.
  16. Hi everyone, I had my interview this morning in Minneapolis. Not a combo interview as my RoC was resolved in 2022 but brought my wife anyway. Arrived there about 30 min before the scheduled time. Took just a couple of min to get through the security, few more min to check in at the front desk and waited in the lobby for maybe 15 min. My ticket number was called exactly on my scheduled time. The officer was serious but friendly, I guess, as I found out after the interview he loves my home country for its beautiful landscape, etc. Anyway, he swore me in and asked 6 questions: - One of 4 amendments on voting (18 or older, no $ to vote, women can vote, all race can vote) - President during WW2 - No. of supreme court justices - No. of senators - How many years we elect president for - One of the 2 longest rivers He asked me to say out loud 'Who can vote?' and write 'Citizens can vote.' on the tablet. Then some yes/no questions from the application followed by where do I live, with whom, where I got married, where I work. Then one final round of yes/no questions from the application. That was it! I asked him if I passed and he said the software will tell us after confirming some personal information (address, name change, etc). The paper printed saying I passed and have been recommended for citizenship. I then asked about oath ceremonies and he said to wait for a letter in the mail and not to have travel plans for the next couple of weeks. I came home to check the status update and found two updates: Status Date Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled January 20, 2023 We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review. January 20, 2023 I guess barring something crazy, I will take my oath soon and this long journey will be over. Those who are still waiting, good luck!! Shouldn't be too long for you.

  18. Congrats!! Is your oath ceremony in Duluth or Minneapolis? My interview is in 2 days in Minneapolis and was wondering if you heard from anyone on how frequently that happens.
  19. This is what I uploaded: Biographic Data · Passport biographic page of USC spouse · Citizenship certificate of USC spouse · Passport biographic page of Applicant · State driver’s licenses of Applicant and USC spouse with same residential address Cohabitation, Co-ownership, and Joint Finances · Health insurance cards from the same insurance company and under same account for Applicant, USC spouse, and Kid · Rental contract of the apartment complex starting in year 2017 under the names of both Applicant and USC spouse · State title of a jointly owned vehicle under the names of both Applicant and USC spouse · Car loan payment through Toyota Financial Services for the vehicle mentioned above for the past 6 months · Auto insurance cards for the jointly owned vehicle mentioned above, and another vehicle in our household · Bank 1 monthly statements for joint accounts – both checking and savings – under the names of both Applicant and USC spouse for the past 6 months · Bank 2 monthly statements for joint accounts – both checking and savings – under the names of both Applicant and USC spouse for the past 6 months Edit: As you can see, not a ton of documents, just the most important ones.
  20. Are they allowing to bring your spouse inside? My I751 is already resolved but thinking about taking my spouse with me just in case.
  21. Congrats!!! How do you feel about being a citizen? Thanks for posting a detailed experience. My interview is in about 3 weeks so this helps. Was yours through 5 year rule or marriage to USC?
  22. Happened to me this last Thursday for a few hours, which was weird. Then all good. Oh yeah the new verification code then came from a different number than usual. My guess is they are changing a few things in their system.
  23. For some yeah maybe, but not true for all. Those with 2 year cards must file 751 before N400. Right? No way they can go straight to citizenship. There are others who want nothing to do with N400 so will just take 10 year GCs. I agree though, and it's my conspiracy theory too, that they move N400s faster so more people are out legally and can cast a vote. Immigrants favor democratic party they say but I haven't seen any data.
