She wants to get a BSN degree, which is more advanced than an RN and equivalent to a bachelor's degree or possibly a little higher.
Slightly unrelated, but a BSN is a bachelor's degree. It's a bachelor of science in nursing

Filed my i130 and i485 and was denied due to the credit card form (not sure why probably because it was submitted during the cost change end of May)
This isn't super important right now, but you weren't denied, your filing was rejected. This is important if the question "have you ever been denied..." comes up. USCIS is a stickler for terminology.

I am a permanent resident and I still get the pop-ups and email reminders about applying for ESTA. I think the website just automatically emails people based on just their citizenship.

What are you not understanding?
Your parent CANNOT enter the U.S using a visitor visa with the INTENT to STAY and adjust status!!! It is visa FRAUD and will result in a lifetime ban for your parent.
It's a big fat no. Your ONLY option is consular processing. Period. End of story.I think consular processing is what OP meant with filing I-130 and then affidavit of support when the time comes.

Hi OldUser, thank you for your reply. Is there a guide on "How to" "getting Infopass and getting passport stamp?" I've never heard of either of those so I wouldn't know where to start.
Thank you again for your reply and your time.Call uscis and say Infopass. Explain the situation and you should get an appointment

because i see people getting their combo cards &/ green cards in less than 2 months
From what I understand, combo cards aren't really issued anymore. Are you sure you're getting your information from recent posts?

Why not bringing him in and file for AOS?
Because that would be immigration fraud. You cannot enter with a non immigrant visa with the intent to adjust status.

But my main concern is how can she prove before she arrives in the US that she has a visa to enter the US?
She does not have a visa. She is a permanent resident. Two different things. If she says she has a visa at the airport, it's just going to lead to confusion.

Utter rubbish.
Can confirm as someone who is currently on their second I-751, their second ADIT stamp, and just recently successfully traveled abroad (although that is nowhere near mindthegap's record)

Is there a timeframe for that after the marriage? we’re planning to get married this June, and I might go back to the Philippines on 2025. I guess we’ll have to wait a year to be together in the same country.
Just be aware that they means you won't be able to file until 2025. I would suggest meeting sooner after the wedding if at all possible. That way you can get the ball rolling.

You lost / damaged original GC?
Original expired December 2020. I got the 24 month extension letter when I refiled my ROC so I had to get the stamp in December 2022. I got the 48 month letter sometime in 2023 but at that point my greencard had already gotten clipped at the stamp appointment which makes it unusable.

2 years, still waiting. Although my first petition was from November 2020, so arguably 3 1/4 years

Also, I've seen people apply for I-130 and I-485 at the same time in the States, once their parents' travel visa expires. Isn't that illegal?
It's all about intent. If someone comes to the U.S. on a visit visa intending to adjust status then it is fraud, no matter how long they wait after arriving. If someone is visiting and while they are visiting their circumstances change, and they decide to adjust, then it is not fraud. Since your mother is not currently in the country, and you are already asking about adjusting, she would fall in the first category.

Not sure what you mean. They didn't just change the extension letter validity for I751 from 2 years to 4 years for nothing.
You wrote "48 years" 😄

I751 takes up to 48 years now.
I know that was a typo, but it does feel like it sometimes

One person I talked to suggested that biometrics were the only part of that which had a physical US presence requirement.
I think that person is confusing I-131 reentry permit and I-131 AP. For the reentry permit, a lot of people only stay until biometrics are done. However, that is only for people who already have a greencard who are expecting to be out of the country for a year or longer, so it is not applicable to your situation.
