I had my N-400 interview 12/03/24 and have not gotten my Oath letter yet.
What are my options to get the ball rolling? I read filing a Non-Delivery of Notice might help? Otherwise going through the emma chat did not help.
This is still within normal processing time. It can take a little while to get final approval/oath ceremony letter. You can submit an inquiry after 90 days.

Have you inquired the USCIS or written to your congressman?
Others who interviewed around the same time as me are still waiting. Probably just held up because of the holidays etc

Do you have a pending I-751? I too had my interview (5 years GC, no I-751) two days ago and I am too waiting for oath ceremony scheduling. I heard from the folks who interviewed in afternoon at my field office that they were then and there scheduled for oath next week. My myStatus estimate also changed from 3 weeks -> 4 weeks -> 2 months in the last 3 days. I know the estimate is a joke but still what does it show at your end?
No other application pending. I applied based on marriage. I had my interview in November and approved the same day (Chicago). Mine says it’s taking longer than usual but still within normal processing times.

I am still waiting for oath ceremony, fingers crossed it’ll be soon!
-
How long after interview did everyone get a letter for oath ceremony? My status has been at “in line for oath ceremony” for 2 weeks. Hoping to get the ceremony letter mailed soon!

I got a new interview scheduled!

I’m so bummed I had to reschedule my interview. I’m going through the Chicago office, does anyone know what the wait time is like to get rescheduled?
congratulations to everyone who got their citizenship! I’m happy for you

I didn’t see a thread for May 2024 filers yet.
I filed online today 05/05/2024. I immediately got my receipt notice and biometrics reuse notice (waiver) online.
I’m in Chicago. -

You mean you got 48 month automatic extension? Everybody with pending cases receive them. Doesn't mean your case was touched, unfortunately.
I see what you mean now. Original extension was only 24 months or something like that, this one extends 48 months from expiry. Thank you!

As in this is a 48 month extension on top of my 48 month extension?

Why are just getting it now? This is the Sept 2021 forum... Not sure I understand
I know it’s the Sept 2021 thread. My status has been on fingerprints taken for a long while. Because I got the mail from USCIS I’m hoping it means someone has touched my file.

I just got a receipt notice for removal of conditions, hopefully that’s a good sign that movement will be happening.
-
What will happen if the 2 year GC extension expires before any action in processing the removal of conditions? Is there a way I can apply to be able to travel out of the country and safely return?

Hi everyone!
Just checking in with you guys, I'm a November filer and since I see not everyone is updating their timeline I was wondering if there is any news from you.
Cheers
September filer here (LIN), nothing yet.

I expected the DMV to do that, too. My husband's first driver's license expired with his green card. When he went to renew it, he took the expired green card and the extension letter, so I expected another two year renewal of his license. Instead, they renewed it for the usual four years!
Same here! I was relieved

Is anyone applying for citizenship soon prior to receiving the approval of this application to remove conditions? Just curious, I want to apply for citizenship but wasn’t sure what the best practice is, wait longer? Or just do it?

I really surprised when I called Amsterdam Embassy in Washington D.C. and their answer was No extension letter can be considered. Expired card is not valid , will send her back ! and i challenged her with alot of questions and why the US immigration extension letter wouldn’t be considered valid since its extending the validity of the expiry date on the card ?! Embassy employee insisted they won’t consider the extension letter !
That person seems to have the wrong information. I’m on vacation right now and will be returning to the US with my expired green card and extension letter. The extension letter extends the validity of the green card, it’s valid.

My biometrics were waived on Dec 28

My case has been sitting on case received for ages, is that normal? (LIN)

I was wondering, should i photocopy the entire page where the address is written on, or can I just put 3 of them folded into thirds one on top of each other so that the address shows (the way that it shows when you get the mail). Not sure if this is clear or not, but basically do they need the entire page where the address is one or it doesn't matter as long as they see our names and our address?
I'm not sure what correct procedure is but I photocopied the entire page that has the address on it to be extra safe.

We only had one bill with both our names on it, the water bill. I included the water bills, then the internet bill just in my name, and another type of bill with just my husband's name. I'm sure it will help to build proof of continuously living together because the dates add up.

Got my oath ceremony letter
this is a reminder for anyone waiting a long time, sometimes it does just in fact take a little longer. We get there in the end!
